(LaPresse) Il primo ministro australiano Anthony Albanese si è recato in ospedale a Sydney per una visita ad Ahmed al Ahmed l'uomo di 42 anni che disarmato un terrorista durante la sparatoria a Bondi di domenica. Albanese lo ha descritto come un “vero eroe australiano”. “Ha deciso di agire e il suo coraggio è fonte di ispirazione per tutti gli australiani”, ha affermato il premier australiano. Almeno 15 persone sono morte nell'attacco. Ahmed al Ahmed, originario della Siria, proprietario di un negozio di frutta e padre di due figli, è stato colpito a una spalla.
