00:00Hello, everyone. It's time for Morning Briefing. I have my favorite cup of coffee. I hope you have
00:06yours. Today, we're dealing with Children's Advocacy Center in Bartow. They help us
00:13deal with children in the most stressful moments of their life.
00:18These are super good people doing a super great job.
00:25Well, now I'm going to talk about something that you ought not to do.
00:30You ought not to go into Walmart in Mulberry, Florida, or any other place and steal stuff.
00:37But, oh, Homero Sains, who's 58, from Valrico, did over in Hillsborough County. That's where he lives.
00:44So why didn't he come to Polk County? Well, he obviously only has three brain cells
00:49because he'd already been arrested over there for a stolen vehicle and all kinds of theft. So I guess
00:56he thought he'd get out of the neighborhood. Well, he came to Walmart and started stealing stuff and
01:03sticking it in his shirt. And then he put other stuff in his basket. And then he decided to go
01:10right past all the point of sales. And the Walmart people said, stop, stop, wherever you are,
01:19you cannot steal from Walmart. Well, our deputy arrives and he starts running.
01:25We try to tase him. He starts fighting with our deputy, trying to grab the taser. Finally, we tase him
01:34successfully. And he stops. When we arrested him, we found he had a white girdle band on under his shirt
01:46and had $237 worth of items in that girdle band. Think about that for a minute. Professional thief?
01:59I think so. New acquired job? Inmate at the county jail. Have a good day.
