00:00That would never happen, a diamond in the dark.
00:01I was like, that happened to me.
00:02I literally found a diamond in the dark.
00:04I see things from like kind of a unique perspective.
00:06And I think you said it earlier, like the guys putting it together.
00:09I came at it from a female perspective, which is why in the first lyric, there's something
00:16about a diamond because that was very me.
00:18And Mark Ronson goes, what do you mean diamonds in the dark?
00:22And I was like, well, I lost my house in the fire.
00:24And when I went back, we had nothing.
00:25But I started scraping around in the ashes and I found one of my diamond rings.
00:28Because he was kind of going, well, that's kind of a lyric.
00:31That would never happen, a diamond in the dark.
00:32I was like, that happened to me.
00:33I literally found a diamond in the dark.
00:35So I bring like a much more, I think, feminine approach to something that because of so much
00:40of the action of Avatar, it can lean into that kind of more masculine feeling.
00:44And I just wanted to bring something really vulnerable.
