00:07The Hong Kong Democratic Party agreed to dissolve and enter liquidation after a majority vote by its members.
00:13Since 1994, the party was one of the main opposition voices in the legislature, sweeping citywide elections and pushing Beijing for democratic reforms.
00:22But several senior party members were jailed or held in custody after Beijing imposed its national security law in 2020.
