00:00On the other side of the ball, the defense, you're going to look at the score and say 48-20.
00:03Jets gave up 48 points here today to the Jags.
00:06Trevor Lawrence throws for five scores in this one.
00:09When it comes to this defense, are you surprised at how bad they've looked at times
00:13under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn, who's calling card as defenses?
00:17Does that surprise you more?
00:18Or is it the fact that this defense, through 14 games, does not have an interception?
00:25Which is more surprising, just how terribly they've looked overall.
00:28The fact they still do have not recorded an interception this season.
00:31Which is crazy.
00:31I think it's an NFL record, right?
00:33Yeah, it is.
00:34It is wild for a team that, you know, has lauded its defense, and especially on that side of the ball.
00:39But if someone had told you that this Jets offense with Brady Cook under center was going to come in today
00:44and put up 20 points, I think you would say, okay, their defense can certainly keep them in this game.
00:49But 48 points allowing Trevor Lawrence to throw, what, for like 330 yards?
00:53It's a tough spot to put any offense in, let alone a rookie quarterback, whether you're a 24- or 44-year-old Philip Rivers out there, right?
01:01Like, it's a tough deficit.
01:02Heading into this one, I did think the Jets' defense would match up well against this Jags offense.
01:09They did have a few chances there to make it a one-possession game and kind of shot themselves in the foot,
01:15as the Jets have tended to do this season.
01:17And Travis Etienne, I mean, just explosive, couldn't stop him, catching passes, running over.
01:24I think it is upsetting.
01:25It's frustrating, right, that the lone bright spot, your defense, allows a team to put up 48 points against you.
01:32Okay.
