00:00Hi there! Yes, it's been a while and as you can see I didn't even have time to shave or get a
00:16proper haircut. I've wanted to give you a bit of an update. One update on the blast from the past
00:23and one update on the future outlook of my new series Meister Jäger. So I've been kind of busy
00:32lately every weekend chopping wood for my wood stove for the winter. As you know I do this animation
00:39stuff in my free time and well if I have to chop wood of course there is less free time over for
00:48doing animation and other fun stuff. So this has been dragging along a bit. I haven't really had
00:53much progress on Meister Jäger but I'm still definitely dedicated to and determined to
00:58complete that next year and put out the first few episodes early in the year. I'm just not entirely
01:05sure how early. I mean the plan was to release one episode a month and I'd start in January with the
01:11first episode. This might still happen maybe just at the end of January but if not don't fret because
01:18there is plenty of content to be thrown around because as you might know I have in 2019 started
01:26my whole journey doing animation seriously and I have created or produced three full episodes of
01:34fungus and mold which is each episode has about 20 minutes of runtime and I have been showing or
01:41releasing those three episodes on Amazon Prime but Amazon Prime doesn't accept any new videos
01:49anymore anyway so I'll take that off there sometime next year probably because it's just it's kind of
01:55a dead end and so I was thinking what do I do with that content because it's not that fresh anymore
02:01it's kind of getting old but I still want many people to be able to watch it. I mean it's a bit
02:06embarrassing it's my first animation I've ever made and there's so many things wrong with it that I
02:12can't really watch it anymore nevertheless I got a bunch of awards for it so I think it's not complete
02:18crap and now I have decided to release fungus and mold all three episodes on youtube and the pilot proof
02:28of concept of the series shady woods has kind of completed its rounds through the festivals only got
02:34like two minor awards and I will release that full 22 minute episode as well on youtube so it's over an
02:43hour of footage that you can you'll be able to watch you'll have 22 minutes times four to watch and I
02:51will release these episodes now starting in December with shady woods first and then by the time my
03:01Meister Jäger is done you will have had enough stuff to watch and see what I'm what I'm doing in
03:07my spare time basically that is the update on the past and on the future Meister Jäger I'm still I still
03:16only have recorded one episode voice work really need to do the rest I have almost two seasons complete
03:24in scripts I'm still making backgrounds because that is the one thing I hate the most and takes the most
03:30time and I'm still not done for all 12 episodes of the season and yeah I just hope I can get something
03:39out by January so you can start watching Meister Jäger and I can start getting back into producing stuff
03:45I just hope I have enough wood for this winter so I don't need to chop anymore I'm kind of my whole body
03:51aches after all that I'm not used to physical labor that much and chopping wood and more than chopping
03:58wood actually sawing the wood actually is more exhausting chopping is very fulfilling it's you
04:02got this kind of splat and it's kind of nice but sawing you stay forever same movement over and over and
04:10over and you you get saw you get saw arms saw shoulders saw everything so please stay tuned you
04:18will be able to watch shady woods this month um oh and there's one more thing I want to share with you
04:24guys because I uploaded fungus and mold all three episodes to youtube uh unpublished you know and
04:32it does the copyright check as you might know in the background takes a few minutes and the funny
04:38thing was uh I got all the music that I use in fungus and mold was from a public domain site where
04:43some of the authors themselves of the music put that stuff in the public domain I think in order to
04:48attract potential customers so they let people use some of their stuff for free so in the hope that if
04:54when you have the money and the budget to hire a musician that they might get the job and so
05:02I uploaded those three videos and I immediately got on two videos got copyright claims and I was like
05:07how is that possible everything I use in there is pd and uh well I thought from all I've heard so far
05:14you know the big youtube machine is kind of cruel heartless and cold and I saw there's probably no chance in
05:21hell I can I can uh contest that claim I still did anyway um and I thought well I might have to go
05:28back and just cut out that music you know and lo and behold I was like three four days later my claim
05:35went through because I just told them here is the website I got it from it's it's called um I can give
05:40you the URL actually in the down below um um what is it called pd music or something ah I got it I forgot
05:47the URL and I said it's on it has been on that side for at least five years actually probably more
05:52than 10 more like 10 or something and so it is in the public domain and that's why you cannot claim the
05:57copyright on that music and it went through and now I'm ready to release fungus and mold all three
06:03episodes with the original music that was in there so that is great so just to let you know you can get
06:10through with youtube it's not all heartless and soulless and and nobody's listening I guess it's
06:16I don't know whether human intervention was there or whatever anyway if there is a copyright claim
06:21it doesn't necessarily mean that you're completely screwed you can contest it and it sometimes takes
06:26only a few days to resolve good thing that's it for today uh now a few short scenes from all the videos
