18:41You guys, you guys can be seated, we're going to take communion together this weekend as a church family.
18:54You know, Esther really loves her dad, but if she has the option between me or Katie, it's no contest, it's always going to be Katie.
19:04And on Saturday nights, she's just always way past bedtime by the time we get her to bed.
19:09And sometimes, right, because she's one, there will be a little bit of an attitude of tiredness.
19:16And I'm always just so quick to let it go, because I was like, we were at church, you couldn't have any sort of decision what was going on, I understand why you're tired, it's going to be okay.
19:27And she was having a moment last Saturday, and I just, we pray, I give her a kiss goodnight, I say, it's not a problem, I'll see you in the morning.
19:34Like, nothing's going to shake whatever's going on right now that's going to make me love you any less.
19:39And I'm folding laundry on the bed, and then all of a sudden, she comes running into the room.
19:44And I looked up, and Katie goes, Esther, we'd like to say sorry to her dad.
19:49And then she gave me a big kiss and a hug, and then she patted the bed and goes, poosh, poosh, which is her sound effect for the remote she wants to show on.
19:58And I was like, whatever you want, girl, I'm so happy right now that we're just reconciling like this.
20:06And it's so funny, because in that moment, I couldn't even remember what she did before.
20:11I honestly forgot why she would be apologizing to me.
20:14I was like, what, yeah, sure, I accept it.
20:17What did you do, though?
20:18Like, do we need to circle back on that?
20:20But it reminds me of our father, right?
20:23Because in Isaiah, it says that he remembers our sins no more, but also that when you have the confidence and the access that we have to him,
20:31because of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross, which is what communion is, it's us remembering exactly what that sacrifice is.
20:39So as you guys start to prepare it, and you take the bread, the bread is a symbol of his body, and the payment that was paid, he came to fulfill the law, right?
20:50And because of what he did, the perfect blameless sacrifice, we have access to him, and when we accept him and make him Lord of our life, we've secured our eternity through him, amen?
21:00Go to need.
21:01And in a like manner, we can take the cup and know that it is a picture of his blood, and it's not just something that was shed, but it's also a power that comes with it, right?
21:18That when he left after the cross, when he went back to heaven, that he left us a helper, and that was the Holy Spirit.
21:25And the same power that rose Jesus from the dead is the same power that is inside you.
21:30So as we move forward, and as we take the bread, and as we drink the cup in remembrance, we know that we have access to our Father, but in the same way, he is also inside of us, and we get to walk and be his hands and feet in everything that we see in this world, amen?

22:12Well, if this is your first time here at Living Word, we just want to say welcome.

22:27But we have a couple different ways you can give here at Living Word.
22:31They're going to put it up on the screen, and you can start preparing your offering.
22:34But I wanted to share a scripture tonight.
22:37It's in 1 Peter, and it's 3 through 4.
22:40And it's blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
22:45According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
22:54To an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
23:03And I love those three words, imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.
23:08How many know that there's not many things on this earth, in this world that we live in, that are unperishable, or undefilable, or unfading, right?
23:21There's so many.
23:22I mean, I can't really think of anything unless it's something that God created, right?
23:27One of those things in our household is our furniture.
23:31Our furniture is not unfading, especially with a toddler.
23:34So recently, last weekend, Christian and I bought a new couch.
23:39Which if you're an adult and you have a home, you know.
23:42That's a big deal, okay?
23:44You have to commit to it.
23:46You gotta try some out.
23:47You gotta be okay with spending some money, right?
23:50So we were ready for a new couch.
23:52And the problem is that it doesn't arrive for two more weeks.
23:57And we were so smart, thinking ahead, that we listed our current, our old couch on Facebook Marketplace.
24:05And it sold in a day, okay?
24:08So now we have a living room with no couch.
24:12So my living room perished.
24:14It was not unperishable.
24:16It was not undefilable, right?
24:18I have no living room.
24:19My living room is actually Esther's toys everywhere and two beach chairs.
24:24We set up our beach chairs in the middle of the living room so we got somewhere to sit.
24:28But how many know that there's things in life that aren't gonna last?
24:33That things are gonna fade.
24:35And not everything is always gonna be perfect.
24:38And not everything is always gonna be imperishable, right?
24:43But we have a living hope, right?
24:46And that's Jesus.
24:47And that's what He did for us on the cross.
24:49That we can put our trust in Him.
24:51That we can put our faith in Him.
24:53That even when the world seems like it's crumbling around us,
24:56and we have no living room, and we have nowhere to sit and relax,
25:01except for some beach chairs,
25:02that we have our Jesus.
25:05That we have something that will never fade, right?
25:09And it's not something that's of this world.
25:11It's something that is kept for us in heaven.
25:14And I just encourage you today to put your trust in that, right?
25:18Let's get our hope and our trust out of the world.
25:21Let's put our hope in our Jesus.
25:23Put that scripture back up.
25:25Because I want to say it exactly, the undefilable scripture for.
25:29Imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.
25:33That's what we have in our Jesus.

25:39as we're preparing our tithes and offerings.
25:41Ushers, if you could come forward, let's say this declaration together.
25:46I thank you, Lord, that as your word is declared today,
25:50healing is coming to my body, to my heart, and to my family.
25:54I am free from fear, addictions, and poverty.
25:57Your peace, joy, and love are flooding my soul.
