00:07passed away and now the cause has been released. Sonya's friend and collaborator Tyler Ford revealed

00:12to TMZ that the actress had succumbed to an internal infection following a scheduled surgery.

00:17According to Tyler, Sonya went in for a scheduled surgery earlier this month and she was released

00:21two days later but then she was admitted back into the hospital soon after when she began to

00:25feel ill. Tyler claimed that they found that she had picked up an uncontainable infection. In a

00:29couple days later she was placed on life support before passing away earlier this week.
