00:00Tekashi 6ix9ine reportedly faked his own kidnapping. Lil Nas X reacts to Billie Eilish stealing the number one song Spot. Plus, Cardi B teaches Constance Wu how to give a lap dance.
00:17Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life with your Hip Hop Roundup, starting with Jay-Z. He's been facing a ton of drama ever since news broke that he's looking to get involved with the NFL.
00:26While Cardi B has supported the rapper, telling TMZ that he can make a change, others like Colin Kaepernick don't feel the same way.
00:34During a press conference last week, Jay suggested we've moved past kneeling to actionable items, but Colin doesn't see it that way as he posted this picture on Instagram giving support to his brothers for continuing to kneel and telling them to stay strong.
00:48But okay, speaking of Cardi, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Constance Wu explained that Cardi B taught her how to give a lap dance while they were on the set of Hustlers.
00:57Apparently, while they were filming the scene, Cardi asked her to show her what she's got, but she tried. And Cardi was like, honey, no, this is terrible. I can picture this.
01:06And it seems like Cardi's baby girl will have the same attitude as her. She posted this adorable clip of culture giving her super side-eye. She's gonna be sassy and I'm here for it.
01:17But moving on to Billie Eilish, she earned her first number one spot on the Hot 100 charts with Bad Guy. Congrats.
01:24This also means she officially dethroned Lil Nas X's Old Town Road, which ruled for a staggering 19 weeks.
01:32But Lil Nas X seems super happy for Billie as he tweeted, you deserve this.
01:37Billie Ray Cyrus even said, congratulations, Billie. Well deserved. Your persistence paid off.
01:42And facts, Billie worked her butt off, so I'm really happy for her.
01:46Moving on to Tekashi69. Remember last summer he claimed he was kidnapped, pistol whipped, and robbed of his jewelry.
01:53Well, apparently he did it all for the gram.
01:55That's according to a defense attorney for one of the men accused of kidnapping the rapper.
02:00Page Six reports this attorney believes that Tekashi orchestrated the scheme himself to create hype ahead of his album drop.
02:07He said no robbery or kidnapping or assault happened, adding he was about to drop another album.
02:12Gotta get that buzz up. That's how he makes money.
02:15Prosecutors have also said they plan to introduce his music videos as more evidence at trial.
02:20Oof, sounds messy.
02:22But alright guys, make sure you hit the like and bell button for all the latest celeb news.
