00:00And ending today with some details from the beautiful memorial service celebrating the
00:04life of Lisa Marie Presley. The sole daughter of Elvis Presley was laid to rest alongside her
00:09father and her son Benjamin this weekend at Graceland, and a handful of her celebrity
00:14friends and family were there to pay tribute. Axel Rose and Alanis Morissette both performed,
00:19while Lisa Marie's longtime friend Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, gave a beautiful eulogy.
00:24Notably, Lisa Marie's daughter Riley Keough was slated to speak, but her husband,
00:28Benjamin Smith-Peterson, ended up addressing the crowd and reading a letter written by the
00:33actress instead. In the heartfelt and heartbreaking letter, Riley revealed that she had welcomed a
00:38daughter in the last year, making Lisa Marie a grandmother. Speaking for Riley, Ben read,
00:44thank you for showing me that love is the most important thing in this life. I hope I can love
00:48my daughter the way you loved me. Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla Presley, also spoke at the
00:53memorial service and read a poem, also written by Riley. She spoke emotionally with her voice
00:58in a whisper-like volume as she read the heart-rending piece. The 77-year-old concluded,
01:03our hearts are broken, Lisa. We all love you. We continue at Hollywood Life to send our love
01:09prayers to the family during this difficult time.
