Gautam Adani visited Pehla Kadam School and the Narayani Charitable Trust in Dhanbad, meeting specially-abled children and reviewing the institution’s rehabilitation work. During the visit, he inaugurated the “Nayi Udaan Café,” a vocational training space where children with disabilities will learn café operations, cooking, serving and essential life skills aimed at building confidence and future employability. Adani also committed support to the institution for the next three years, a move school authorities say will help strengthen therapy services and expand training programmes. For many parents and teachers, the visit symbolised recognition of their efforts and reaffirmed the message that inclusion and equal opportunities must be a shared societal responsibility. This initiative in Dhanbad is being seen as a collaborative model between community organisations and the corporate sector, offering children a pathway towards independence and dignity.
