00:00My Hero Academia Final Season Episode 11 Review. It was truly our Hero Academia. It was pure
00:07emotion. With the final episode of My Hero Academia's final season, our journey to becoming
00:13a hero comes to a satisfying conclusion. You might not realize how rare it is for a shonen anime to
00:20deliver a satisfying ending, but what My Hero Academia managed to pull off will truly be
00:26remembered for decades to come. It wasn't just the end of Deku's journey. It felt like the end of our
00:32journey alongside him, and a perfect one at that. From the beginning, MHA revolved around the idea
00:39that a hero will save everyone, and it is their job only. But with this decisive final episode,
00:45the series finally made clear what My Hero Academia, or rather, Deku's journey, was always about.
00:51It proved that anyone can be a hero. All you need is the will to help those in need.
00:57Deku sets up the final message of what it means to be a true hero. The transition from the previous
01:04episode was a masterclass here. It perfectly showed how even a small act of negligence could turn
01:10someone into another Shigaraki. In this episode, the cycle was again almost repeated as the child
01:17was on the verge of losing himself. It was more painful when he saw that everyone else around
01:22him was living a normal, happy life. Much like Shigaraki, the boy had done nothing wrong as a
01:28child, but when he needed someone to hold his hand the most, no one stayed. Just like Shigaraki,
01:34he was beginning to leak that dark power, and once again no one tried to reach out, understand him,
01:40or stop what was about to repeat itself. Then, reminding us of the words Deku set up during the final
01:46battle, the old lady didn't turn away this time. She didn't leave the boy alone. She held his hand
01:52tightly. That moment was so emotional that it genuinely made me tear up along with the child.
01:58In that instant, the overwhelming evil power consuming him was neutralized. It proved that
02:04Deku's words truly changed the world for a better future. Even without a quirk, he has become a true
02:10hero, showing everyone the real meaning of becoming a true hero. Even if you have the smallest power to
02:17make a difference, or none at all, you should stand by those who need you most. That is what a true hero
02:22would do. That's what Deku would have done. Horikoshi gave my hero Academia the ending every shonen
02:29deserves. Then the graduation ceremony kicked in, and yeah, the tears came again. Sure, Deku doesn't have
02:36his powers anymore, but all might Hatsum and everyone from class 1A came together to build him
02:42a suit so he could still help people, even if it's just in his own way. Now he's working as a teacher
02:47at UA High, which honestly feels perfect. Seeing a little kid, just like Deku back then, come to him
02:55with dreams of becoming a hero was incredibly heartwarming, and Aizawa telling him to be stricter
03:00because kids won't listen otherwise was such a nice, grounded touch. I also loved how the ending
03:07didn't force Deku into the spotlight. Shodo becomes the rank 2 hero, Bakugo takes the 5th place,
03:13because of his anger issues and all. While Deku does take the 4th place, he still walks his own path,
03:20often alone, but that's the beauty of my hero Academia. It might feel bittersweet, but you don't need the
03:26spotlight to change the world. Deku became the hero he always wanted to be. Also, the side characters
03:32were wrapped up really well, too. Achako and Frappi now work in quirk consultation across different
03:39academies, helping people in a completely new way beyond frontline hero work. Tenya carries on his
03:45brother's legacy as the head of Team Aidaten, Takami, and Shinso get solid send-offs, and even
03:52gentle criminal finds redemption by co-founding a software company, Gel Inc., and with Hawks
03:58reshaping hero society, even retired heroes like Endeavor are honored, with statues to remember what
04:04they gave. Thus, our Hero Academia comes to an end. All episodes of My Hero Academia are currently
04:12available to watch on Crunchyroll.
