Speaking at the event on December 13, 2025, a representative for the group announced that India Today TV was named Best English Channel and Aaj Tak won Best Hindi Channel. The awards also recognised the network's 'Best News Coverage' for the Lok Sabha elections. Marking the group's 50th year, the speaker dedicated the victory to Chairman Arun Puri, stating, 'We can only give this award to Mr. Arun Puri... he created a new history for journalism.' The group also won for Best Talk Show and Most Impactful News Personality.
