43:46my parents were both
43:49junior hockey coaches
43:50and they were hit
43:53by a drunk driver
43:54when i was 12 years old
43:55mercifully for them
43:58they died instantly
43:59mercifully for me
44:01the saint thomas scholarships
44:04existed
44:04i didn't have
44:08anybody else
44:09to help me
44:09had a lot of memories
44:12a love of hockey
44:13and
44:14a huge hole
44:15in my heart
44:16saint thomas filled it
44:19with hope
44:19the hope
44:21of a new family
44:22things
44:23things weren't always easy
44:25you know
44:26they never are
44:26for anybody
44:27but in hockey
44:30i found what i was
44:31missing
44:31first at my high school
44:34then later at college
44:35and now here
44:36with the admirals
44:36and i never looked back
44:39because i never had to
44:41the family i craved
44:46the family that i needed
44:47that i still need today
44:49hockey gave it to me
44:52and saint thomas gave me
44:55hockey
44:55so from the bottom of my heart
