00:09Hey guys, it's Emily for HollywoodLife.com and let's start with Selena on the Today Show

00:13talking about her surprise visit to a LA high school working in part with Step Up,

00:17which is an organization that aims to empower young women.

00:21Selena reveals why she feels this is so important.

00:24I want them to see that they're able to have the same dreams and the same goals.

00:27There's so much pressure now, especially for young girls,

00:30and I just want them to feel like they are capable of doing anything.

00:34Selena is also talking about the pitfalls of social media again.

00:38I'm actually enjoying finding moments for myself,

00:41whether I'm in the studio and I've been in the studio for a week straight

00:45and haven't really said anything about it.

00:46I like having a little mystery to where I'm at,

00:49and I think that makes me feel very empowered.

00:52It makes me feel in control of where I'm at.

00:54And per usual, Selena made time for her fans.

00:56Like, it's somebody that you grew up with and inspires you,

00:59and it's amazing to, like, meet you, you know?

01:07The most interesting part, though, is Selena talked a little bit about

01:10making her personal life, a.k.a. her romance with The Weeknd,

01:13a major priority.

01:15Also taking time to have a personal life,

01:17so I'm enjoying mixing that because I've always been kind of straight work.

01:21Now it's just taking my time.

01:23Take your time, girl.

01:24But speaking of her man, Selena and The Weeknd have been staying in Sao Paulo

01:28after Abel performed at Brazil's Lollapalooza.

01:31Apparently, these two are just as beloved in South America

01:34as they are absolutely mobbed by fans once again.

01:40Abelina were also spotted inside the Grand Hyatt in Sao Paulo,

01:52and it looks like they may have shared a public kiss.

02:02with Usher songs and really letting her know just how special she is to him.

02:06Selena continues to be surprised by how genuine and spontaneous and romantic

02:10her new man is, and these two couldn't be happier.
