00:02We want to be healthy for each other,

00:03and we want to have a family in the near future.

00:07I was worried about being 200 when we were dating,

00:10and now I'm worried about being 300.

00:12And that's terrifying.

00:13And then to get pregnant on top of that

00:15would just be unhealthy.

00:17My weight is such a barrier in the bedroom.

00:22Not being able to have babies is like crazy

00:26because of a weight problem.

00:27It's not anything else but you decided not to control yourself.

00:31I want to be a healthy mom, a healthy wife,

00:33and I'm a role model.

00:35And Chad, are you here for something for yourself?

00:38I've definitely struggled with being super skinny

00:40my whole life.

00:42Like, people feel like, oh, what an easy problem.

00:44You just need to eat more.

00:45But I'm like, no, literally, like, I get full so fast.

00:52Me being so much underweight, it puts a lot of doubt

00:54in my mind of who I am, even as a man,

00:58because, you know, a man is always the one that saves a girl

01:00and sweeps her off her feet.

01:02I can't do that for her because I'm not strong enough to.

01:06I don't feel like a beautiful woman,

01:08and my husband doesn't feel like a strong man.

01:11It's kind of gotten to the point where we realize

01:13we need to make a change because it's affecting a lot.

01:17Aw.

01:20Thanks.

01:21And I know how you feel.

01:22You feel, like, trapped in your own body.

01:24And, you know, and I feel that way for my brother,

01:27who, you know, has gained a lot of weight.

01:30It's debilitating.

01:32And I think people don't sympathize when people are body

01:35shamed for being too thin.

01:37My sister Kendall, when she was growing up, she was very skinny,

01:40and she used to get bullied all the time for being too skinny.

01:44And I think body shaming of any kind is still bullying

01:48and not acceptable.

01:52Well, I'm so proud of the both of you two.

01:54I could tell that you guys love each other so much.

01:56But it's gonna be difficult because you two are

02:00in two totally different worlds in this journey.

02:03I was envisioning, you know, at some point,

02:06maybe you guys being separated for this journey

02:09to make it that much more of, like, a reward at the end

02:14and also to come out and reveal all of this to each other.

02:18I would totally be down with that.

02:20That sounds pretty cool.
