Taylor Swift The Eras Tour The End Of An Era Season 1 Episode 2

FunTranscript
00:00When we reached the last night at Wembley Stadium in London,
00:10all of us felt such satisfaction.
00:14We've had so many special moments where just like,
00:18it just reminds me what a concert can do if you give it your all.
00:24Then again, no matter how good a tour is,
00:30it's a huge, massive undertaking.
00:33It's hard work.
00:35That's the challenge, that's the adventure,
00:38and that's what every person on this tour is doing.
00:46Every single night, no matter what's going on,
00:50we're gonna do everything in our power to blow your mind.
00:54.
01:04My goal for the Eros tour is that I didn't want the fans
01:20to leave thinking that they missed out on anything.
01:22One thing I've always tried to do is like,
01:25give something to the fans that they didn't expect.
01:28When we had done the first half of the tour,
01:31what the fans didn't know at the time was that I was writing a brand new album,
01:35the Torture Poets Department.
01:37And in the middle of me releasing the album,
01:40we had to be all hands on deck creating a brand new era to put into the show,
01:44to represent that album.
01:46This is so fun.
01:55Doing all of this completely secretly, all in like a tiny little break that we had between Asia and Europe.
02:01Are there sounds from Fortnite that are not the synth sound?
02:06Or do we go into like strings?
02:08Like this feels like a highly elevated chapter.
02:12We build this top secret rehearsal facility for us to lock in the set list.
02:19Go, who's afraid?
02:21Little bit of down bad.
02:24Probably a verse and a chorus or a pre-chorus and a chorus.
02:27That might be it.
02:28Like I would kind of do surgical tweakings to each song.
02:32Be like, okay, these songs, but cut out the bridge and the second verse of this.
02:39And then, so tell me everything is not about me.
02:43To make it so that we could fit this many songs in the show.
02:47Bam!
02:48And say they didn't do it to hurt me.
02:51Everyone in.
02:53And I want, and double as big for, I want a snarly.
02:57I'm going to have a mental breakdown during this song.
02:59Like it's going to be so fun.
03:02And then we put together all new choreography.
03:07Learning choreography, all just hearing it in our heads because they can't play the music on speakers because it's not out yet.
03:14The first line is, did you really beam me up?
03:17What I want is for a light to spotlight right on me like it's the alien ship.
03:23Right into this like crazy, like alien light.
03:28And then, down that way.
03:32Yeah.
03:34Yeah.
03:35There's an entirely new order of the chapters.
03:38So I'm relearning the entire show essentially.
03:40It feels crazy to like take all the pieces apart and then put them together in different order.
03:46Yeah.
03:47And I think I'd rather feel this way where I'm a little bit confused, a little bit like what, what, uh, than being like on autopilot.
03:55Yeah.
03:56Because I could do the show we were doing in Asia I could do with myself.
03:59Yeah.
04:00At first we're all like, we all fear change.
04:01But then we're like, yeah, we got this.
04:03Yeah, but we're here because we accepted challenges our whole lives.
04:06Oh my God, that was a risk.
04:08That could have gone so bad.
04:09There was the danger that we, it could have felt like we had sort of shoehorned something in.
04:14Or that, you know, people didn't like the new show as much as they liked the old show.
04:19I swear to God, if I heard people online being like, I missed the old show.
04:22I was going to be like, oh my God, you have no idea how hard this was to do.
04:25We're going to get to watch 45,000 people experience the fact that they're seeing something that's never been seen before.
04:34Going out to play our first show of the new set in Paris.
04:39The crowd has no idea that we've added a completely new section and rearranged things.
04:44And, and I am so, so excited.
04:48I love having a good secret.
04:50When we brought out this new show in Paris, it was so rewarding because all of that secrecy and all of that working during our only time off paid off so much.
05:03Because the fans were so excited.
05:05It was such a dynamic new addition to the show.
05:11Now, going into the last show in London, I have the opportunity to add to their experience, even on top of that.
05:20Taylor wants to make the last London show as powerful as possible.
05:25She's like, I want to blow this thing out, we're going to do this right.
05:28She wants to do Florida with Florence Welch, Florence and the Machine.
05:33Performing Florida with Florence is something I've wanted to do ever since the two of us wrote that song.
05:39And then it just so happened that she was going to be available in London.
05:42You're not nervous about the show, you know, you know how it runs and suddenly something like Florence coming to do Florida.
05:49The choreography meets the music meets automation, which is the stage movement and is starting from scratch again.
05:58I know that when I say to them, I want to perform Florida with Florence and I really want to do it with full production.
06:04I know that it's some kind of creative brainstorming sessions, but I know it's doable because all the dancers, the choreographers, the production designers, the crew, the entire band, every person we have is the best one doing it in the entire industry.
06:20This is kind of funny.
06:30We have to rehearse the song.
06:32We kind of do what we usually do in the comfort of a studio from the road, but also trying to keep things from leaking before the surprise.
06:43It's a stadium with no roof, so there's like fans outside and say, I have to turn the PA off and we have to do it quietly, you know?
06:55It is so much extra work to keep things a surprise.
07:00Let me tell you, I need a nap just thinking about it, but it's so worth it when we can actually pull it off.
07:09You're programming sounds.
07:10At Soundcheck, the dancers are finding a place to work on choreography for it where people can't find out what's happening.
07:17You know, before you know it, I'm in a random ballroom in the middle of a hotel with Amanda at like 9.30 at night.
07:24And my friends all smell like weed a little bit.
07:27Maybe then, maybe you'd come off there.
07:30Flores open up on the, into the diagonals, maybe?
07:33Yeah.
07:34With choreography, I asked one of my friends, Emma Stone, who's done a lot of work in dance in her films, you know, who have you worked with that you would recommend for this?
07:44And she's like, there's only one person that needs to be on your list, and it's Mandy Moore.
07:47I never would have thought that I would be in the same sentence as Taylor Swift ever in my life.
07:53You know, I've always been a big fan, but I, funny enough, I come from really more film and television.
07:58I don't really do artist performance.
08:01Now I understand why I was brought in, because she really wanted to do something different.
08:04And she likes the storytelling.
08:07I mean, her songs are mini movies.
08:09So, when I listen to them, it's just lyrics and melody swirling with ideas in my head.
08:15And then you just start making something.
08:18Yeah.
08:19Is there something about that, like, bop, that mean?
08:21Yeah.
08:22And then all of a sudden, it comes out.
08:24Smell like weed a little baby.
08:27Yeah.
08:28Do you want to do?
08:30Seven.
08:31Beautiful.
08:32Gorgeous, Amanda.
08:33Love.
08:34One, two, three.
08:35Amanda Balin, the first time that I saw her do her thing, she was choreographing the tour.
08:41She was not a dancer.
08:43Her job was to show me what I'd be doing with the dancers.
08:46In the middle of the night, in my dreams.
08:50I would just get so much inspiration from what she was doing as a performer.
08:55I just kept saying, like, you're such a pop star, Amanda.
08:57In the middle of the night, in my dreams.
09:01This was my dream.
09:02Truly.
09:03It was my dream to do live shows and tour like this.
09:06More so than Broadway or anything.
09:08I just, I always was drawn to this.
09:11I actually haven't looked at these.
09:13I just keep throwing them in.
09:16I started out by doing small things.
09:19And then I booked a job as a swing for a Janet Jackson tour, which was, oh, I'd always wanted to dance for her.
09:25I went on to tour with Celine Dion.
09:27Uh, what else have I done?
09:29Oh, oh, I danced for Lady Gaga for five plus years.
09:33I toured for five years straight.
09:35I worked on Glee, which was a long standing dancing TV show for a while.
09:39That was a wonderful job.
09:40I went on to do some films like La La Land.
09:43I've performed at probably every major award show with different artists.
09:47And I've been a part of many tours.
09:50Aw.
09:54As much as you want it to last forever, dance isn't a forever career.
09:59The demand on your body is not sustainable.
10:02We can get this strong when you do all those, you know, wild movements.
10:06Then this can stabilize your spine, helping.
10:09I have two labral tears in my hip flexors.
10:11Like things were just breaking down.
10:13I kind of just decided it was a very tough decision, but to gracefully start to peel myself away from being a professional dancer and to do things behind the scenes.
10:25I remember asking Mandy, I wonder if Amanda would ever dance with us?
10:33And Mandy was like, ah, she's, she's retired.
10:35She hung up her dancing shoes a while ago.
10:38At some point, Mandy came to me and said, hey, the team wants to know if you want to do the show.
10:44My first response to being asked to do the tour was a chuckle and a, oh, hell no.
10:48I don't even know if I could do it.
10:50Being involved in the behind the scenes and then doing it on stage, those are two different things.
10:55I had doubts in my ability.
10:58I was worried that I wasn't going to be as good as I was when I was dancing.
11:02But at the end of the day, even though there was a lot of fear, it was just too wonderful of an opportunity.
11:09A second chance, I get chills.
11:12It was a second chance that most people don't get to have.
11:15We're counting this song in fast state.
11:22So it'll be a one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
11:26Oh, one, two, three, four, five, seven, eight.
11:29She says, um, and a five, two, three, four.
11:32On five, it's the word weed.
11:34And you guys are going to kind of do like a little bit of a deflate.
11:37And my friends all smell like weed.
11:39Yeah.
11:40Yeah.
11:41Weed or little babies.
11:44One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
11:47Okay.
11:48Just so you have an idea.
11:49And then guys went loose.
11:50Yes.
11:51Hey, Dewey.
11:52Amanda and I were in like an empty ballroom last night.
11:55Just like, okay.
11:56Like idiots.
11:57You're just seeing Amanda and I.
11:58As you can imagine, it's the normal.
12:00Okay.
12:01It's called Floor.
12:02Floor.
12:03Floor.
12:04Floor.
12:05Floor.
12:06Floor.
12:07Floor.
12:08Floor.
12:09Floor.
12:10Floor.
12:11Floor.
12:12Floor.
12:13Floor.
12:14Floor.
12:15Floor.
12:16Floor.
12:17Floor.
12:18Floor.
12:19Floor.
12:20Floor.
12:21Floor.
12:22Floor.
12:23Floor.
12:24Floor.
12:25Floor.
12:26Floor.
12:27Floor.
12:28Floor.
12:29Floor.
12:30Floor.
12:31Floor.
12:32Floor.
12:33Floor.
12:34Floor.
12:35Floor.
12:36Floor.
12:37Floor.
12:38Floor.
12:39and to the stage and to the whole experience,
12:41so it's a really important thing,
12:43and I take it very seriously.
12:46You know, I always get nervous
12:47when I'm showing Taylor something for the first time
12:50because, ultimately, I just want to do well.
12:53You know, like, I want to make her happy
12:54because I just, you know, so much respect for her.
12:57I love her.
12:58I mean, I was really terrified the first time
13:00I had to show her something.
13:03We can figure this out together.
13:06But luckily, you know, since the very early stages of this,
13:10her and I have a really nice communication.
13:13We'll teach something in here together.
13:15We'll bring this out.
13:16Actually, I'm going to need to travel back to A stage
13:18during this part.
13:19Okay, great.
13:20Taylor can give me thoughts or colors or ideas,
13:23and I think I'm able to understand what she wants visually.
13:25I want to kind of channel, like,
13:27a Rites of Spring Florence machine.
13:30Like, it's taking our body.
13:32Yeah, like, fully, like, reaching.
13:35You know, like, kind of like,
13:38like, girl in an insane asylum slash wood nymph.
13:42Love it.
13:43Yeah.
13:44So, I mean, yes.
13:45Was I nervous?
13:46I'm always nervous.
13:47I'm always sweating.
13:48I'm like, oh, God, did I make the right thing?
13:49Is this bad choices?
13:51Hello.
13:52How are you?
13:53Really good.
13:54How are you doing?
13:55I'm good.
13:56All right, I'm excited.
13:57Do you want to watch one?
13:58I would love to.
13:59I'll do Florence's track.
14:00We're just doing the speaker right here.
14:01Yeah.
14:02Love it.
14:03Yes.
14:04Okay, go for 4306.
14:06One, two, three.
14:08Standby, 4306 point.
14:10Hold on.
14:11They said I was a cheese.
14:16I guess it must be true.
14:21And my friends all smell like weed or little babies.
14:26Ooh, I love that.
14:27Go.
14:28And the city wreaks the drive with myself.
14:31Go.
14:32Go.
14:33Go.
14:34Go.
14:35Go.
14:36Go.
14:37Go.
14:38Go.
14:39Go.
14:40Go.
14:41Go.
14:42Go.
14:43Go.
14:44Go.
14:45Go.
14:46Go.
14:47Go.
14:48Go.
14:49Go.
14:50Go.
14:51Go.
14:52Go.
14:53Go.
14:54Go.
14:55Go.
14:56Go.
14:57Go.
14:58Go.
14:59Go.
15:00Yeah, here, kinda, like the waves.
15:01Yeah.
15:02Go, do it.
15:03Go, go, am I?
15:05Yeah.
15:06Come on.
15:07I didn't feel like you guys can play here.
15:11Hey, 이상ami.
15:12And then, yeah.
15:14He made this like wave.
15:15Wow.
15:16Civingistas kind of cool, huh?
15:17Yeah.
15:18Cool.
15:19Kind of cool, huh?
15:20Kind of cool.
15:21I hate that it's happening without us there.
15:24You could do it earlier if you want.
15:26Just didn't know if it was...
15:27Whoa!
15:28So epic back there, and no one's gonna look at it.
15:31No, because they're gonna be looking at you.
15:33And I almost wish that me and Florence could be on that.
15:37I mean, that would be fucking amazing.
15:39Do you know what I mean?
15:40And she's up for it, yeah.
15:41I'm worried if me and Florence are here,
15:43those people aren't gonna look at it,
15:45and that bothers me.
15:47And also, I think Florence is, like, gonna be really...
15:49She's totally down for, like, being in the mix
15:52and doing cool stuff.
15:53And I did my best.
15:55Like, in there.
15:56All of the bodies in the...
15:58Yes.
15:59Oh, it'd be awesome if it goes down.
16:05Good, too.
16:06Then it rises.
16:08Little did you know...
16:10Yes.
16:11Totally, right?
16:12Then it all rises at the same fucking time,
16:15and it's awesome, and everyone sees it.
16:18Good, okay.
16:19Let's run one more time,
16:20and now that I've had this chat with Taylor,
16:22then I can fix all...
16:23We have all the elements.
16:24I just now need to rework them, okay?
16:26Good job, guys.
16:27Thank you so much.
16:28A lot of the time when you are casting for a tour,
16:31you know, choreographers will sometimes have it in their head
16:36that they want a specific body type.
16:40They want a specific look.
16:41They want only women.
16:42They want only men.
16:43It's...
16:44People can get very opinionated
16:46about things looking very uniform.
16:50That's not what I wanted to do with the Ares tour.
16:52I feel like when you look up on stage as a fan,
16:55if you see people that represent you, your friends,
16:58the people you see in the world,
17:00that's, I think, much more emotional
17:03and more connective and powerful.
17:06I really wanted everyone to look up on that stage
17:08and think, I see myself in that person.
17:13Spaces like the space that Taylor is curating
17:17on a night-to-night basis,
17:20I wish we had more of that, right?
17:23Even outside of entertaining,
17:26it's so important to be seen,
17:29to be heard, to be understood.
17:34My background as a dancer,
17:37I had a lot of teachers and professors
17:39who were not so kind,
17:41mostly around my size,
17:43and if I wanted to be a professional dancer,
17:45I would need to lose weight.
17:47I remember doing an audition
17:49and the director of the company said to me,
17:51okay, so what are we going to do about your body?
17:54In life, some people are going to try to tear you down.
17:58They want you to do something else
18:00other than the thing that you are in love with.
18:03And then there are kind people who ground you,
18:07and in my experience, that's my mom and my brother.
18:10It's important to know I came from a family
18:14with an excess of love, right?
18:17My mother sacrificed a lot for my brother and I
18:20to just have experiences.
18:25And so my brother, he fell in love with sports.
18:28I fell in love with dance,
18:29and we were sort of navigating our training
18:32at the same time, middle school, high school, college.
18:36And it has been the joy of my life
18:41to watch him thrive in something that he loves so, so much.
18:45Now he plays in the NFL, and I watched my brother go
18:50to the Super Bowl three times.
18:52I graduated college and thought I was going to be teaching
18:55dance for the rest of my life.
18:58And I remember getting an email that said,
19:01there's a closed audition.
19:02We cannot disclose who the artist is,
19:04but it's being choreographed by Mandy Moore.
19:06I didn't have, like, a dollar to my name at the time.
19:11And I called my brother.
19:13I was like, listen, I don't know what this is,
19:18but something is telling me that I have to be in this room.
19:25He was like, okay, we will make it happen.
19:28And he bought me a flight.
19:36When he came into the audition, I was just like,
19:38he's magnetic.
19:39I mean, he's a great dancer.
19:41His smile is like the thousand-watt smile.
19:44You know, he's really well-trained.
19:46He just embodies what I felt was, like,
19:49the spirit of what these people need to be.
19:51Cam is someone who absolutely lights up not only the stage,
19:56but just our entire vibe as a tour.
19:59He's just so himself.
20:02I don't want dancers that blend in.
20:04I don't care about them pulling focus.
20:06I want them to pull focus.
20:07I want you to feel like you saw an entire crew
20:11of individual stars on the stage.
20:16Now, knowing that spaces like this
20:20do exist for me,
20:22that allow me to be the fullest version of me
20:27with all I have to offer in this body
20:30as it exists right now,
20:32this feels like my Super Bowl.
20:37I want you to feel like I didn't leave my hotel room.
20:47Yeah.
20:48I woke up with a cat on my head.
20:50I want you to be a cat.
20:51Can we get you a temporary one, okay?
20:53Yeah.
20:54Morning.
20:55Hi.
20:56Hi.
20:57Hi.
20:58Hi.
21:06Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent
21:09with the heiress tour is really important to me
21:11because people who work on the road,
21:13if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus.
21:16a bonus and these people just work so hard and they are the best at what they do so every single
21:22person on the crew i've handwritten them a note it took me a couple weeks but it's fun to write
21:28the notes it's like fun to to think about everybody's lives that they're going to go back
21:33to and the time off they're going to have and the you know the kids they haven't seen because they've
21:37been away from months and it's just making that worthwhile for them is like really it just it
21:44feels like christmas morning when you finally get to say thank you
21:50bonus day okay so each so each one is in its own baggie and i was thinking we can lay them out
21:58oh let me see the wax seal you wax sealed every one of these things yeah and i got it and the fire
22:06department almost had to come i want to show you this taylor six of the audio guys got this tattoo
22:13says cruel summer 152 shows oh my god and then i don't know crazy i don't know if you remember
22:21but on reputation why is it a grim reaper i have no idea they have to keep it like scary they can't
22:27like have like a tattoo of like a butterfly and a kitty cat i think what that means is 152 dates
22:34almost killed them but they made it oh my god that is exactly what it is that's what it means the
22:39reality of it yeah jesus yeah i'll go behind you guys get rid of the bags a bit forensic
22:48okay everybody has the same message on their card so i was hoping you could open it but before
23:05before you look at yours i just wanted to say guys this this leg of this tour has been harder than
23:11anything i've ever done in a live setting and you guys have taken this on with such excitement and
23:18such curiosity and such the endurance you've shown um but the spirit you've shown how much you've given
23:24to these crowds that gives to me every single night the tour has done really well thanks to all of our
23:30hard work so if you will kindly read this message taylor swift okay oh daris cam we've traveled the world
23:45like we set out to do we've dazzled the crowds but we've missed family too my full gratitude doesn't
23:52come from a bank but here's all this just to say things love taylor
24:16father was the one that presented the checks
24:19to our drivers and he presented handwritten letters from taylor it's incredible i know
24:25tour truck drivers and i've asked do artists usually give out these big bonuses unheard of
24:36he's emotional oh my god do you need a hug are you okay i'm gonna pass out
24:49and the first walks uh you know it felt nice if you were going to slow first and then you round the
25:07corner everybody's got their things they're good at uh it's taken me a really long time to be even
25:15fine at choreography mandy knows how to approach teaching me choreography from a lyrical perspective
25:24what were you doing this these little steps yeah they're just steps um yeah so just starting with
25:28your uh did you think oh yeah almost really oh town you'll get arrested i don't do eight counts i learn
25:37based on what syllable of the lyric i'm attaching a movement to and i can't really learn any other way
25:43i've tried texas florida should be yeah i didn't know if it should be like sing it then throw to
25:51them or sing florida there you go that's what i thought yeah yeah oh sorry to get out there and
25:57learn the choreography in 30 minutes and remember to hit this spot hit this mark this dancer's gonna
26:04come over and stand next to me for this moment in front of 90 000 people like my brain would explode
26:15it's an absolute challenge not to mention the whole time she's doing this she's singing and doing all
26:20these things at the same time so it's a lot like juggling for three and a half hours learning the
26:26choreography it's not just doing a step for the sake of doing a step it's all very visual and it makes
26:34sense to me narratively it also is interesting to be in a position where like you know this is a team
26:40of experts and there's something about that that keeps me on my game and focused and locked in it's
26:47one of the elements of like where that kind of pressure is a privilege because
26:51they're not messing up so it better not be me um okay so uh i feel good okay is it okay if i yeah
27:02because we're gonna put points in tomorrow so we'll have you look okay perfect perfect we're happy if
27:06you i love it i love it i love it i think it's gonna be so special beautiful job guys beautiful job
27:12thanks for the song okay you know yeah it's my only job
27:21i'm excited about seeing the show again you know the driver asked me oh is this your first time to
27:26the show i was like uh no no yeah i don't you know my knee is doing better and i don't really want to be
27:35in the wheelchair i need it a little bit but to get you there yeah but i want to dance tell them i'm
27:42gonna tell them because i feel like a hypocrite if i'm sitting in the wheelchair section and i start
27:46popping off you know i think they'll come and take the wheel you're gonna start what popping off and is
27:52that the move something like that sometimes it's a shimmy uh-huh sometimes it's a roll and when does that
27:59window it is i have so many and a lot of times it's you guys it's choreography too like
28:06it's this way so i think that that i do that push like it off yeah shake it off shake it
28:14i do that move too oh are you ready for it that that's my song i love that one
28:25this experience has been really amazing for me it's okay
28:41i've watched you make so many sacrifices
28:48it's okay
28:48so many for us to be able to do what we're doing and to um follow those dreams with every
29:02part of us yeah and
29:08i am grateful that you're here to see it
29:11the fruits of your labor in this way and i'm grateful that you're able to um see the fruits of
29:38your labor in this way and i will never not have you in these spaces with me and and celebrating with
29:47me because just as hard as i've worked i'm very clear and very conscious of how hard you've worked
29:57for us to be able to do so which is why i try my hardest to take so much care of you i know i know
30:04i love you so i love you
30:08it's gonna be a good show i know you're gonna enjoy it i'm a dance i know
30:12you're here you're here you made it
30:23you're there for the students
30:26hi i'm mandy oh my gosh what an honor hi hi i saw this show and it was so amazing
30:35yeah so nice to meet you this is gonna be amazing
30:39this is so big no it is it is and it's also it's like a lot of ground to cover here
30:46So we're gonna show you and then like the choreography
30:49is like, we do something and it affects them.
30:52Like where we're just like, Florida,
30:54and they're like, bleh.
30:56I have performed on big stages,
30:58but this is not like,
31:00I thought I'd just show up and I run around.
31:02Like, cause that's what I do at my own shows.
31:04I just show up and I run, like, I just run around.
31:07You're gonna come up on that back lift,
31:08but you'll see it and we'll put your-
31:10I have never done a lift.
31:11You haven't?
31:12Oh, they're so fun.
31:13You're gonna have so much fun.
31:16When I got there, I was like, okay, now this is your choreo.
31:18I was like, oh no, no, no, wait, wait,
31:19you want me confused.
31:21I don't do this.
31:22I'm gonna fuck this up.
31:25Jenny, one, two, three, you split.
31:41Good.
31:42You're good.
31:46So now, this is Karen, and Nat, and Tamia's behind you, and Raph here.
31:59So you guys are nice and safe.
32:00This is gonna start rising up on So I Did My Best, okay?
32:03Oh, great.
32:04And she's gonna lay down, or she's gonna kind of come in, too, if you're okay with this.
32:07Yeah.
32:08And she's just gonna lay her head here, and it'd be great if you wanted to connect to her
32:12head.
32:13On, like, I did my best to lay to rest all of the bodies that have ever been on my body.
32:16All of the bodies.
32:17And in my mind, they sink into the swamp.
32:20Oh, beautiful.
32:21Raise your arm up.
32:22Beautiful.
32:23No, sorry.
32:24Is that a bad thing to say in this song?
32:26Okay.
32:27Sorry about that, yeah.
32:28So sink into the swamp, you're still down.
32:30Yes.
32:31Sink into the swamp.
32:32I'm sorry about that. Yeah, so sink into the swamp. You're still down. Yes, yes
32:38Sink into the swamp
32:42Got it good now good
32:52Beautiful one hell of a draw center do it again
32:58Then I use
33:02We're similar in that the persona is huge, but the person is soft and so I think that's why we get along
33:08Externally the thing is really big
33:12But like when we're together, we're just like silly and goofy
33:16Seeing the show
33:18The most beautiful thing was the crowd. I like it was just like the love and the vibe. Yeah
33:25I could I was just like this all the pockets of
33:28Like girls in their dresses like dancing. I was like there's so much joy and like
33:34And like like femininity that's not there's no shame around it. Yeah
33:41Natalie and odi are standing right here. So you just head to the back two girls
33:45And then you're gonna have your footprints
33:47Right there and you just gotta go in the middle and I think turn back front
33:50Yeah, and then we'll take you down and then do we will be there to to get you at the end, okay?
33:56Yeah
33:58Oh god, this is gonna be so fun can we yes, I would love taylor are you good to run this too from a top with the lifts and everything?
34:04No, that was all we got
34:06Can you imagine you're like Florence good luck? It's gonna be great. I'm sure you'll be fine
34:11Good you want to try one? All right
34:13Yes, Florence
34:16Ready to go down? Let's go in my first lift
34:20And are you okay if I kind of talk you through and I said go right? Yes, please perfect
34:24What?
34:46I've been feeling so alone
34:50For you
34:54I don't know what you're making me out to the ground and rolled out a race and said marry me julia
35:01You never have to be alone
35:04I love you and that's all I really know
35:08I talk to your dad, go fit out a white dress
35:12It's a love story, baby, just said
35:16And we are never, ever, ever, ever getting back together
35:24Yeah
35:24Ooh
35:25Ooh
35:26Ooh
35:26Ooh
35:26Ooh
35:26Ooh
35:27Ooh
35:27Ooh
35:27Ooh
35:27Yeah
35:28Ooh
35:28Ooh
35:29Ooh
35:29Ooh
35:30Ooh
35:30Ooh
35:31Ooh
35:31Ooh
35:32Ooh
35:32Ooh
35:33Ooh
35:33I used to think that we were forever, ever and I used to say, never say never
35:36So he calls me up and he's like, I still love you and I'm like, I'm just, I mean this is exhausting, you know, like we are never getting back together
35:52Nah bruv
35:53Nah bruv
35:54Nah bruv
35:54Nah bruv
35:55Nah bruv
35:59Getting back together
36:00Nah bruv
36:03Nah bruv
36:06We can beat the heat, but I beat the charges too
36:12They said I was a chick, I guess it must be true
36:19And my friends all smell like weed or little babies
36:25And the city reeks of driving myself safe
36:32Little did you know your home's really only a town you're just a guest in
36:40So you work your bathroom away just to pay for a timeshare down in Destin
36:46Florida
36:47There's one hell of a truck
36:51Florida
36:53Florida
36:56Florida
37:00London
37:01Web Pplease stadium
37:04My friend Florence showed up to surprise you how does that make you feel?
37:12Worked with my name when it came
37:15I got drunk and I dated it just washed me away
37:19In the bathroom with a bottle of wine
37:21Well, me and my ghost
37:23We had a hell of a time
37:25Yes, I'm haunted
37:26But I'm feeling just fine
37:28All my ghosts got their lace and their cries
37:31But she in the halls have been disappeared
37:34When no one asks any questions here
37:38So I did my best to lay to rest
37:41All of the bodies that have never been on my body
37:44And in my mind
37:45They sink into the small
37:48It's not a bad thing to say in a song
37:53Well, did you know your home's really owned
37:57It's a town you'll get arrested
37:59So you'll pack your life away
38:02Just to wait after shitstorm back in Texas
38:06Florida
38:07It's one hell of a drug
38:11Florida
38:13Can I use you?
38:18The feeling of coming up for the first time in that lift
38:23It was kind of landing on Mars
38:24Because I'd never seen the stage lit up before
38:26The sound of the crowd
38:27That was really extraordinary
38:30You know, it's like
38:32You see this cultural moment from the outside
38:34And I suddenly was inside of it
38:36It was wild
38:37But it was really fun
38:39And completely terrifying
38:41Also, Taylor's my friend
38:44And I know her as this very cozy person
38:46And I came out of that lift
38:48I was like, oh my god
38:49It's fucking Taylor Swift
38:51Don't fuck me
38:53Oh my god
39:05Wrebley Stadium
39:06Make the most amount of noise possible
39:09For national treasure
39:10the extraordinary Flores in the Machine!
39:13You know, I used to kind of be leaving the shows and seeing people
39:43walk home and think, I really hope they got what they've been waiting for.
39:49I hope they got what they've been saving up their money for.
39:57There's a feeling I have of such pride and satisfaction
40:02because when I leave the Ares tour, I never wonder that.
40:10There's just like this magic in the air.
40:12All these particles of shimmer and glitter and confetti
40:18and girlhood and friendship bracelet beads
40:21and, you know, magic in the Ares.
40:25We'll see you next time.
40:27We'll see you next time.
40:31We'll see you next time.
40:33We'll see you next time.
40:37We'll see you next time.
40:40We'll see you next time.
40:46We'll see you next time.
