00:00So there's a very famous quote by Carl Jung

00:03Instead of being at the mercy of wild beasts, earthquakes, landslides and inundations

00:10modern man is battered by the elemental forces of his own psyche

00:14So can we fix this?

00:17We do not know for sure how an earthquake builds up

00:2320, 30, 40 years

00:26Two huge tectonic plates keep pushing against each other

00:31and the tension keeps building up

00:33and nothing is visible on the surface, nothing at all

00:37and then one fine day

00:42there is a massive eruption

00:45So the world is a projection of the mind

00:49and if the mind is not being taken care of

00:53then the world will obviously be a messy place

00:57We, our education, our culture, the way kids are brought up

01:03We are just not looking within

01:06Where each of us lives all his, her life is in the mind

01:13That's where we live

01:14This is what matters

01:16And yet we spend all our time and energy

01:21looking at the external world

01:24The problem, as I try to put it, is at the level of biology and philosophy

01:32Biology produces the kid in a particular way

01:37And our philosophy of parenting

01:41Philosophy of education

01:43Philosophy of life itself

01:45Is so flawed

01:47All your education put together

01:50On one side

01:53Is less valuable

01:56Than one single course
