00:00Fellow Aussians, it's good to see me, isn't it?
00:11In Wicked for Good, there's just a lot of growth
00:16and a lot of consequences for Glinda.
00:19Come on!
00:20You don't want to miss this.
00:22And I really enjoyed digging into what it really means to be Glinda the Good.
00:31Good, good, good, good, good, good, good.
00:38Every day, I would do stunt training, vocal training, and dance rehearsals
00:44so I could live in her as much as I possibly could.
00:48Because in Wicked for Good, I get to see so many new dimensions of Glinda.
00:52I love reading the script over and over and scribbling in between the lines
00:57and asking questions about her character.
01:00That means a lot to me, Alfie.
01:01What's this intention here?
01:03Like, what is that coming from?
01:04So that I had everything I needed in my emotional toolbox
01:08and making sure that everything has a meaning behind it
01:11so you get to kind of see her heart.
01:14You see, he wasn't going to harm me.
01:16He just...
01:16He loves her.
01:24One of my favorite things about this process is tracking Glinda's growth.
01:29And it's just such an evolution, and I think finding those beats for me
01:39was the main challenge, especially because these films were shot simultaneously.
01:45I had to shift gears mentally when bouncing back and forth
01:49between the intensity of Wicked for Good
01:51and the lightheartedness that you can feel in movie one.
01:55Three!
01:56That was it.
01:57On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, you're in school,
02:00and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday, it's years later,
02:03and you're a completely different woman.
02:04Spread a rumor that her sister's in trouble.
02:13She'll fly to her side, and you'll have her.
02:19I really tried to find that balance
02:21to maintain familiarity in certain ways,
02:25but also bring my own heart and my own ideas to her.
02:28Did you hear what I said?
02:30It reminded me of the journey that she's been through to get here,
02:33seeing Ari come back in the audition room over and over again,
02:37not believing, like, there's no way she can do this, right?
02:40And every time, she astounds us.
02:42You can tell me if I can change the way.
02:49I noticed that there were, like, certain pieces of myself
02:52that felt really aligned and adjacent to her.
02:55And you finally get to the real human
02:59at the end of this film.
03:01It's really a privilege,
03:03and that's why I'm so protective over her.
03:06I'd like to try to be...
03:08Glinda the Good.
03:10I feel so lucky to be able to walk alongside her
03:18on this entire journey.
