00:00Walton, why do you post so many pictures of yourself on the internet without a
00:04shirt on? Okay, but why do you do that? Welcome everybody. We are the cast of
00:12Fallout season one and season two and today we're gonna be answering some fan
00:18mail right here from fans. Okay, do you want to go first? Let's go. Go first.
00:28Ah, it's got your name all over it. Oh, literally. Literally. No address. I don't know how they found me.
00:35I don't either. Okay, it says, Aaron, Maximus is my favorite because in Fallout, he's me. I want to be the hero or I want to be the villain, but I never am. I'm somewhere in the middle. This is obviously my mother.
00:52I think that's really beautiful. I do think that we did like a lot of work. You know, every artisan, like for my story in our first season is, it's about dancing that line. You know, it's about walking that tight rope where some fans of the game will understand that like some of the, sometimes they're gonna get tired of making like the goody good, you know, choice. They're gonna be like, maybe I kill this guy. Maybe I, maybe I take it. Maybe I take that armor. Maybe I start my journey now. And I'm glad I didn't have to wait, you know, full season.
01:12To try on that armor. Yeah. I got a, I got a chance to let my back muscles grow up a little bit, you know, it's going to say that looks like it's really hard on your back.
01:16Oh my God. All right. Is your stuff heavy? Yeah. It's a little heavy. You know, thank God for the prosthetics. Yeah. Moises. Yes. For you, my friend, air mail, hand mail. Yeah.
01:27Amazing. You know, a little heavy. A little heavy. Yeah. You know, thank God for the prosthetics. You know, Moises. Yes. For you, my friend. You're out. Air mail. Hand mail. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
01:41Do you want us to just guard these?
01:43Can we toss it?
01:44Oh, you got to do the letterman, like...
01:47Make a window break.
01:49What you got, Moises?
01:50All right, I got Moises.
01:51He played the part perfectly, and then by the end of the season,
01:54I was more invested in his story than anyone else's.
01:57I have a feeling that Norman Lucia are going to completely dismantle
02:00whatever is left in Vault-Tec and expose them to the rest of the world.
02:04That is the hope.
02:06I mean, that's not much of a question as a statement,
02:09but I agree with it.
02:10The idea is to find whoever and whatever the plan is
02:14and take it all down, get back to the service,
02:17and restart civilization.
02:19Are these the emails you send to the writers?
02:21I sent this.
02:24That's you, man.
02:26Oh, hey, Macaulay Culkin, everyone.
02:28Hey, gentlemen.
02:29Hi.
02:30Maybe you've heard of him.
02:31Dear Macaulay, what is it?
02:34Wait, no, no, sorry.
02:36You never know.
02:38You never know.
02:39All right, all right.
02:40Macaulay.
02:41Macaulay with a K.
02:43That barely resembles my name.
02:45Macaulay.
02:46Macaulay Culkin went from Home Alone to Rome Alone.
02:51That's a pun.
02:52It's very punny.
02:53That's good.
02:54Yeah, there you go.
02:55Yeah.
02:56That's certainly a thing that happened, huh?
02:59I'm a part of the Legion, I guess.
03:00Yeah, yeah.
03:01And I'm not by myself, too.
03:03Yeah, so there's that as well.
03:05Yeah, yeah.
03:06You've got a really cool chest plate.
03:07I have a really cool chest plate.
03:09No, don't do that.
03:10Kyle?
03:11Ah.
03:12Senore.
03:14All the way from Italy.
03:15All right, hold on a second.
03:16From Italy?
03:17We don't know.
03:18I would like him to know how happy it makes me feel,
03:21and to many more people, actually legions of people.
03:24Legions of people.
03:25Legions of people.
03:26To be able to enjoy his talent once again in a show as cool
03:29and actual as Fallout.
03:31You are unique with love, respect, and admiration
03:34at Mimita Tao.
03:36Well, thank you very much.
03:38I am happy to be back.
03:39It's been a long, long time since I've been in the Wasteland
03:43and I finally feel like I've come home again
03:46and I've got a wonderful group with me.
03:48I'm not quite sure who they are or what they do on this show.
03:50But I'm enjoying myself immensely.
03:56Not the face.
03:57It's just noises.
03:59It's fine.
04:00Not the face.
04:01Not the face.
04:02Norm, what are you doing in the way?
04:03Why don't you put your face in the way of my letter?
04:05All right, monsieur.
04:06It is up to you.
04:07Monsieur, monsieur.
04:08Carry us home.
04:09Carry us home.
04:10Merci beaucoup.
04:11Okay.
04:12Okay.
04:13Oh, wow.
04:15Walton, why do you post so many pictures of yourself
04:18on the internet without a shirt on?
04:21But really, it's no idea.
04:23Okay.
04:24Walton, but why do you do that, Walton?
04:28Walton, usually the ghoul, Cooper Howard,
04:31is calm and confident in any situation.
04:33But when he sees Hank again in the final episode,
04:36asks about his family, you can see his hands shaking and rage.
04:42A great piece of acting and an awesome detail for the character.
04:46Well, that's very, very, very kind of you to say.
04:49And he was angry.
04:51Cooper Howard was distraught after hearing that his wife
04:55was maybe the principal architect about bringing on the end of the world.
04:59And so when he does meet young Hank in that moment, yeah,
05:04he is just distraught and beside himself.
05:07So thank you very much for the compliment.
05:09I appreciate it.
05:10You also had a lot of coffee that day, I remember.
05:12I did have a lot of coffee.
05:13But, you know, I mean, it's just nothing, isn't it?
05:15I mean, you got to get there.
05:16Okay, Moises, as someone who has been playing the game
05:18since Fallout first came out 20 odd years ago,
05:21I'm especially blown away by the series,
05:23perfect casting all across the board.
05:25And this is especially true for the character of Norm MacLean.
05:27Moises Arias is perfect at this role.
05:30He's oddly likable despite being a little creepy and sinister as well.
05:34I find myself rooting for him more and more.
05:37Thank you at Oklahoma Haas.
05:39I appreciate that.
05:40I think those are definitely very fallout adjectives to describe Norm.
05:45And I appreciate the fact that it was communicated through the lens.
05:50The process was really week by week.
05:53It wasn't knowing where anyone really would end up by the end of the season.
05:58So it was a finding.
05:59And I trusted the writers and the creators that we were, you know,
06:04trekking along the path in a way that we would get to what would end up being the season finale.
06:12And now for season two, it's even cooler to receive the first script and keep on going from there
06:19and see where it ends up in the second season.
06:21You know, it's an amazing thing with what we all have to do in this day and age of TV making,
06:25where it's like our character doesn't know what they're doing next week and neither do we.
06:29Like in life as humans, we have no idea what we're doing next week and you live in that place.
06:34Yeah, it's scary when you send it to a TV show.
06:36Yeah, you read a script, you know, you do a movie, you read a script, boom, you do the movie.
06:40It's like, yeah, it's like, oh, I'm saying yes to this script and also future scripts that are just this nebulous,
06:45this nebulous concept that you believe in the people or you don't, you know, yeah.
06:49True. Yeah, it's very true.
06:50True.
06:51Was that the same fan that wrote the previous one?
06:53Yeah, wasn't it?
06:54Is it?
06:55Is it?
06:56Is it?
06:57I don't know, Anders.
06:58I like Big Big Big.
06:59Here we go, uh, Aaron.
07:00Yes.
07:01Here we go.
07:02Aaron?
07:03Oh, Aaron, hey.
07:04Double A?
07:05That's the way you own Double A, huh?
07:07Double A.
07:08I can't wait to see where they take Maximus' character as he was easily my favorite character in the show
07:13and I just found him super interesting.
07:16Maximus is my boy!
07:17With an I.
07:18With an I.
07:19The Daffler's nine, seven, six, three.
07:20Thank you, thank you, brother.
07:21I, you know, it's, um, it's, it, honestly, I just find this show super interesting.
07:26I, I, I find, uh, like, I hate watching myself in anything and I, I still watch this show because
07:33I really enjoy what, what everyone is doing on the screen.
07:36I find the show super interesting.
07:38I find it to be this total mystery to me as well.
07:41I didn't know the game before, I knew other games, uh, and my friends are still texting me,
07:45telling me, you know, didn't we tell you you should have played that when we were, when we were 12?
07:48Yeah.
07:49Yeah.
07:50Yeah.
07:51But, you know, it is, it's really, it's really exciting, I think, to be a part of this show
07:54that it's, um, is keeping my interest.
07:56Yeah.
07:57Nice.
07:58Yeah.
07:59Nicely, nicely, nicely stated.
08:00Yes.
08:01This is, uh...
08:02Macaulay?
08:03Macaulay?
08:04Macaulay McClucklin.
08:05Oh!
08:06Yay!
08:07Macaulay-cut-cut-cut-cut-cut.
08:08There we go.
08:09Kyle McLaughlin, Macaulay Culkin.
08:11We should, if we have a Scotch together, we could do a Scotch.
08:15Now there's some welcome news.
08:17I think the rest of the world is finally ready for the Macaulay-sance.
08:20The Macaulay-sance?
08:21The Macaulay-sance.
08:22The Macaulay-sance.
08:23You know, it's almost, it's almost a pun.
08:26It's like a...
08:28There was a choice made right there.
08:30Yeah.
08:31By Gnarlstone.
08:32I thought it was Macaulay's seance.
08:34Macaulay's seance.
08:35Yes, yes.
08:36Yes, yes.
08:38Yes, I feel like I belong here.
08:40I'm a big fan of the show and it was one of those things where it was like, I was, I felt
08:46like the tone, the vibe, the whole kind of works were the kind of things that I was
08:50like, I want to be a part of this kind of thing.
08:52And then I didn't do anything about it.
08:53I just went to sleep.
08:54And then they called me up and I was like, oh gosh, you know, look at that.
08:58Have you ever read that book, The Secret?
09:00Yeah, it's kind of like that.
09:01I dreamt it into reality.
09:04I love it.
09:05Okay, Kyle.
09:06Oh.
09:07There we go, Kyle.
09:08Is that you?
09:09Makes it easier.
09:10Hand delivered.
09:11It's a notice.
09:12You're evicted.
09:13Oh, look, it's two pages.
09:14No, I'm just kidding.
09:15It's going to be so fun seeing Kyle MacLachlan go full villain this season.
09:21Vulane this season.
09:23His performance when the twist happened in the finale was so fun to watch.
09:27Really good at selling how horrible this guy is.
09:30Horrible, really?
09:31Oh my God.
09:32I thought Hank was such a sweetheart.
09:34Mm-hmm.
09:35He does such nice things in the world.
09:36He's very kind.
09:37Well, this is part of the fun of Hank.
09:39That he's more than meets the eye.
09:41And that's actually part of the great thing about this story for every character.
09:44There's more than meets the eye with every person here.
09:47So that's exciting.
09:48You know, Kyle, one of my favorite days on set was watching you do that scene in the cage.
09:53The canary in the cage.
09:54The canary in the cage.
09:55Oh, canary in the cold one.
09:56One of my favorite days.
09:57Oh, thanks, man.
09:58No, really.
09:59It was in the finale episode.
10:01In the finale episode, you know.
10:02Have you seen Fall Out?
10:04Have you seen Fall Out?
10:05There's these hyper-closes on you.
10:07Beautiful, beautiful work.
10:08One of my favorite days on set.
10:10We had a great director.
10:12It was a great moment, I think.
10:14And I think, you know, when Lucy comes in and you come in, I mean, the reality of that
10:18moment, having not been around for as long as I had and suddenly playing that out, there's
10:21a lot of truth in it and realness that kept coming up, so.
10:25It was a reasonable point of view, you know what I mean?
10:29Like, you can't, like, this is, I understand what you're doing.
10:32It's not what, you know, you're wrong by other people's standards, but not by your own,
10:37you know, and you make a real case for it.
10:40Yeah, thank you.
10:42That was, I was really trying to do it.
10:43Give me my letter, man.
10:44And because you've been so nice to me, I'm going to give you a letter.
10:46Thanks, man.
10:47Okay.
10:48Dear Santa Claus.
10:49Here we go.
10:50All right.
10:51Thank you, Walton Goggins.
10:53You make Southern complicated in the best way.
10:55Funny, dangerous, thoughtful, proud, and still trying to do right by people even when
11:01it goes sideways.
11:02You make us look human, not just like caricatures with accents.
11:06You know what?
11:07This is, this means more to me than you know, because I agree with you.
11:12I think that everybody has been stereotyped over the course of, you know, the film industry's
11:19depiction or storytelling over the last hundred years.
11:22And the South is no exception to that.
11:25And the Hollywood experience of the South wasn't mine.
11:29And some of the smartest people I've ever met in my life are from the South.
11:32Some of the funniest people I've ever met in my life are from the South.
11:35And the rest is history.
11:36Nice.
11:37Yay.
11:38Oh, one more question.
11:39Where should we go?
11:40Let it be a Home Alone one.
11:41Paper, Scissors, Rocks.
11:42Paper, Scissors, Rocks.
11:43It's like breaking down.
11:44Okay.
11:45Ready, ready?
11:46One, two, three, five.
11:47Oh, come on.
11:48No, we do one, two, three, and then the same.
11:49One, two, three, five.
11:50One, two, three, five.
11:51Ladle.
11:52Here we go.
11:53Here we go.
11:54Here we go, Kyle.
11:55Winner.
11:56Okay.
11:57Mr. Chicken Dinner over here.
11:58This is all I said for Cameron.
11:59I loved working with you and it was an honor to have you drown me in a barrel full of pickles.
12:04That is very funny.
12:05So that, what a sweetheart.
12:07Oh, that's a sweetheart.
12:08Yeah.
12:09Yeah.
12:10It was an honor to drown.
12:11He didn't go willingly, just to say that.
12:13Is that right?
12:14Cameron, we're so happy you were.
12:16So grateful.
12:17We all had stunt doubles, but yeah, a lot of it we did.
12:21I walked.
12:22Made my first season hiding under a desk.
12:24I did that pretty well.
12:25Yeah.
12:26And yeah, getting pulled by the hair.
12:30Hank's done a bit.
12:31Yeah, I did a little bit with Cameron.
12:33So we had like a little bit of a fight sequence there where I smashed him with a shovel and then
12:36drowned him in pickles.
12:37Yeah.
12:38Aaron's done.
12:39Aaron's done.
12:40I had to do some wires.
12:41I had to do my fights.
12:42I used to love watching you practice with your guns, actually.
12:44Yeah.
12:45All these drawing techniques, you know?
12:46Yeah.
12:47Yeah.
12:48Yeah.
12:49Just in a corner, Walt, in full ghoul makeup in a corner.
12:51I've seen him.
12:52He's growled at me before.
12:53I've walked by a long time.
12:54He's like, oh, never mind.
12:55Sorry, Coop.
12:56He's like, don't call me Coop.
12:57I'm like, oh, sorry, sorry.
12:58Thanks, guys.
12:59Thanks, everybody.
13:00Thanks so much.
13:01We enjoyed all of your fan mail.
13:02I hope you enjoy season two as much as we enjoyed reading your notes.
13:10Who, did I kill somebody else?
13:11I'm taking this home.
13:12It's going home with me.
13:13He's?
13:14Dance at me.
13:15Go home with me.
13:16Go home with me.
13:17Go on, Lee.
13:18Go.
13:19Go home with me.
13:20It's going home with me.
13:21Hang on for a minute.
13:22You're smiling.
13:23Go home with me.
13:24Have no Christmas.
13:25Go home with me.
13:26setup with me.
13:27Qu pasar.
