00:07In a lengthy caption, the pop star basically revealed that her long hiatus is a punishment for her family who controlled her conservatorship for the last 13 years.
00:14In the Instagram post, Britney wrote that, quote,
00:17Not doing music anymore is my way of saying F you in a sense when it only actually benefits my family by ignoring my real work.
00:24Recall, the singer's conservatorship was terminated last month, and for months now, Britney has been opening up about why she feels her family hurt her.
00:31But on the right side, this post also shared some of her goals for 2022.
00:35And according to Britney, she mainly wants to push herself to be a bit more and do things that scare her, but not too much.
