EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos visited a Ukrainian thermal power plant damaged in recent Russian strikes on December 10. The facility is one of several civilian energy sites hit during a wave of attacks since September 2025, with DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private power producer, reporting over 210 hits on its thermal plants since the 2022 invasion.
