00:00Here's the next head coach of New York Liberty, Chris DeMorco.

00:07I want to thank Jonathan.

00:09I want to thank Clara Usad, the entire ownership group, for this opportunity.

00:14Kia Clark, it was a joy talking to you over our Zoom calls early and then seeing you again the other night.

00:19And then everybody else in the Liberty organization.

00:22I'm absolutely thrilled to be here.

00:24I also want to thank the Golden State Warriors that spent 14 seasons with that organization.

00:28And Steve Kerr, Mark Jackson, the entire coaching staff, those who are there now and have left,

00:35ownership group, Peter Guber, Joe Lacob, and especially the players who really allowed me to grow into what I am today as a coach.

00:43I also want to thank the Bahamas Basketball Federation.

00:47I was an assistant coach for, I think, four or five years when they made the decision to hire a young coach

00:53who had no head coaching experience.

00:54And without them, I, again, would not develop into where I'm at today.

00:59And we made a heck of a run on the brink of the Olympics.

01:03And I feel, I feel like I'm Bahamian if we're being honest and that's it.
