00:00Indian parents say that like, okay, you study the whole day, but spare some time for puja path, bhakti and all that.
00:06See, all the traditional religious practices, they have become distorted.
00:13But in their pure form, in their original form, the intention was always one, to show you a mirror.
00:21Because religion is about freedom from inner bondages and suffering and anxiety and chaos.
00:30And confusion and all these things that keep happening on the inside.
00:34That's the definition of religion, very definition.
00:36Religion is not about God attainment.
00:38Religion is not about attaining a heaven for yourself.
00:42It is about freedom from your inner chaos and suffering right now.
00:47That is religion.
00:49So all the religious practices originally had the same intent.
00:53Same intent.
00:55Right?
00:55But they got distorted.
00:56So if you can look into the religious practice, refine it for yourself and use it as a mirror, then it's wonderful.
01:06But if it is not refined, if the religious practice is not acting as a mirror, if it is not bringing you face to face with yourself, then the religious practice is junk.
