00:00The 919 program came to an end exactly here in Bahrain eight years ago.

00:09I had the privilege of being in the contention for the driver's title and the manufacturer's title

00:14and we clinched it so that was the highest point of this program.

00:20Now when I look to this 963 program here and even though it's the last WEC race of this project,

00:25the project continues.

00:27Being in a position to fight for the driver's title but also for the manufacturer's title.

00:31That's the goal and the whole team will push for it.

00:39Well, so far so good. We had two practice sessions.

00:42We learned a lot about the tires and the conditions here in Bahrain.

00:46If we get a setup right, we hope for a boring race to secure the championship.

00:51Bahrain is always special to look at the timing sheets.

00:53What's important for the race is about tire degradation so we'll focus on that a bit more this morning.

00:57And then the afternoon is actually the opposite because that's the one lap pace quality which will count.

01:01Second push lap in my quali sim for this afternoon and I've lost the car.

01:10But you know at the end for my quali this afternoon, the preparation, the rest was looking good so I'm still confident for it.

01:17Practice done and dusted. We had a lot of things on the list.

01:21We look competitive now. The spirit is high so fingers crossed we can go through Hyperpoll and start in the top 6, top 7.

01:55Tough quali for us. Another one I have to say after Fuji.

01:59I locked up in the first attempt and after that I have to say I didn't have the grip to do much better.

02:05It's a long race ahead so we have hope to come back that's for sure but it's just not ideal.

02:10Pretty happy. I think we maximized what we had for sure. There's always this one or two tenths we can always improve for a perfect lap.

02:17But in the end I think we worked very well to be disqualifying and hopefully we're going to have stronger car in the race.
