Aboriginal family services calling for emphasis on support over child removal

Less than sixteen cents in every dollar spent on Australia’s child protection system goes towards early intervention programs aimed at keeping families intact. That's the finding of a new report from the peak body for Indigenous children which says investing in family supports is key to preventing child removals.
