00:28Instead, it turned into one hot mess of a scam.

00:31But thanks to Hulu and Netflix, you can see the madness unfold.

00:37Now, Kendall Jenner is tied into this story

00:39because during the time she posted a photo saying you could

00:42buy the tickets to the festival using a discount code she provided.

00:45Seems harmless, right?

00:47Well, as both documentaries explain,

00:48there was never enough time or money to pull off the event.

00:52But the CEO and founder, Billy McFarlane,

00:54continued to promote the festival by using influencers

00:57like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner to sell the idea of luxury.

01:01Now, Kendall did not tag her post as an ad,

01:03even though now you're legally supposed to.

01:06According to Vice, she was paid $250,000 for the post.

01:10So even though there was barely any information about the festival,

01:13people were still willing to vote thousands of dollars.

01:19the least you can do is tell us, right?

02:06so that could have triggered the police call.
