00:26Around the world, countries are accelerating investment to the fibre optic systems,

00:31data centers and cross-border digital corridors.

00:34These projects are becoming as fundamental as transport networks or energy pipelines.

00:41The digital silk way project vision is to build a modern east and west digital artery

00:48that will redefine the region's place in the global data economy.

00:54By introducing new secure high-capacity route,

00:58the initiative aims to strengthen regional digital ecosystem,

01:03enable innovation,

01:05ultimately connect to the emerging AI-pervert global infrastructure.

01:10And the cornerstone of this vision is the Trans-Caspian fibre optic cable line

01:17to be built across the Caspian Sea.

01:20The project jointly implemented by Azar Telecom and Kazakh Telecom.

01:25Trans-Caspian fibre optic cable line is engineered to establish a new level of digital scale in the region.

01:33Spanning roughly 380 km across the Caspian Sea,

01:38It becomes the first ever fibre optic system to bridge Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan directly.

01:43The system is designed with total capacity of 400 terabits per second,

01:49ensuring it can meet the needs of hyperscalers, cloud providers and AI platforms.

01:55All preparatory work has been completed.

01:58Marine survey has been finalized.

02:00The initiative encouraged deeper collaboration among the countries in Central Asia,

02:05South Caucasus and beyond.

02:07The Trans-Caspian fibre optic cable line changed the way data moves across Euro-Asia

02:14by opening a completely new central pathway between Europe and Asia.

02:19Existing corridors have traditionally been either entirely terrestrial or entirely submarine.

02:27What we are building is a combined terrestrial and subsea architecture across the middle corridor.

02:35The new cable system will introduce unique hybrid route

02:40which will significantly decrease dependency from alternative routes.

02:47For us, it's more than an infrastructure project.
