00:00The Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group is on high alert to ensure safety during the holiday season.

00:06Focusing on scams like rentangay and car napping, they will set up four to six checkpoints across Metro Manila

00:13and six checkpoints in the Central Luzon and Calabarzon regions.

00:18Similar checkpoints will be placed in highly urbanized areas like Cebu and Davao,

00:22while two to three checkpoints will be in provinces.

00:25PNPHPG has already recovered over 1,500 vehicles from car napping cases between 2024 and 2025.
