Romain Grosjean said he can't get his head around Oscar Piastri's season, after failing to win the F1 title
Transcript
00:00Huska Piastri is the one I can't put my head around this year
00:06so strong up to the summer
00:09and then past Monza
00:12four or five races
00:13I thought it was his cousin driving
00:16and then came Qatar
00:19and then we saw again Oscar
00:22fastest man on track, poor position
00:24of course they didn't win the race
00:25but that really didn't matter that weekend
00:27It was like Oscar was back
00:29I think he was strong in Abu Dhabi, but at that point he had lost too much ground.
00:33I don't know Oskar very well, I really like him as a person, as a driver.
00:38My guess is that he's pretty disappointed with the season when you have a 34 points buffer
00:44at the summer break and you end up 10 points, so a bit more behind.
00:51It's not what you look for, so yeah, he will probably learn a lot.
00:56He's still a very young driver, you know, has very few seasons in Formula 1.
01:01He's shown a lot of potential, he's shown a lot of great things and he's also shown that
01:074 or 5 races he was just not where he wanted to be, so I guess if he does what he did well
01:15again and sort those issues or those races out, he definitively will be watching every one day.
