Kindred were a kind of rock/soul group who issued two albums on the Reprise label in the early 1970s. Lead by singers Gloria Giano & Marty Rodgers. 'Next of kin' was originally issued in 1972." The second and final album from the Los Angeles band. Much more interesting and diverse than their debut, there's no funk in sight.Fabulous album by a largely unknown American outfit, well done to Wounded Bird records for this reissue, if you like music with a great groove and Joplinesque vocals from the female half of the dual vocal partnership then this is for you.
