00:00Good morning, everybody. How's everybody doing this morning?
00:03It's great to be here. It's actually an honor to be here.
00:06Some familiar faces out there.
00:08I want to thank you for that beautiful introduction.
00:10Is there any better man in the world to work for than Secretary Turner?
00:13Seriously.
00:14But congratulations on all the success that you guys are having.
00:17You're all great American patriots,
00:19and everything that you're all doing each and every day,
00:22representing the 47th President of the United States,
00:25is truly outstanding.
00:27The reason I'm here is to thank you
00:30and to let you know that the White House is here for you.
00:33We're here for Secretary Turner as well.
00:35We're always going to be here for you, anything you need.
00:37I understand you're leaving this building,
00:39and this might be the last event that takes place in this room.
00:44So we're closing it out,
00:46and I understand you're all moving to a new building,
00:49so I look forward to coming in and seeing that one as well.
00:52Where's Andrew Hughes and Reed Wilson?
00:54Over there in the back.
00:56I want to just thank both of them.
00:57A round of applause.
00:58They've been great partners.
01:04Truly great partners with PPO and collaboration,
01:07where HUD is staffed to 100% right now with MAGA Patriots.
01:11So congratulations to you guys.
01:13You've been a pleasure to work with,
01:15and just two great guys.
01:16So thank you so much.
01:18We have four people up for confirmations in the next package,
01:21including is Ronnie Kurtz here?
01:23Ronnie, go get him.
01:24Hopefully for next week, we've got Ronnie Kurtz.
01:28Joseph Gormley.
01:30Is Joseph here?
01:31Joseph, if you're here, go get him.
01:35Frank Cassidy and Ben Hobbs.
01:37Good luck next week.
01:38Good luck.
01:40We're with you.
01:41Let's get him through.
01:42We're also aware of some things that are going on within the committee
01:44with Irv Dennis, CFO nominee.
01:47Where is he?
01:48Is he here?
01:49We got you.
01:50We got you.
01:50Thank you for everything.
01:52You know, you talk about sacrificing a lot and giving up a lot
01:55to come and work in the government and serve the American people.
01:59It's a big step.
02:00It's a lot of sacrifices.
02:01And thank you for sticking through it.
02:03And thanks for all your support of the president and of HUD and Secretary Turner
02:07and the team.
02:08It means a lot.
02:09And it doesn't go unnoticed.
02:10So thank you.
02:11A day I'll never forget.
02:13But something that we will live to when he lifted that fist and he lifted it
02:17and said, you all know what I'm going to say.
02:19Fight, fight, fight.
02:21That's what you all are doing in this room each and every day.
02:24And we love you for it.
02:25We appreciate everything that you're doing every single day.
02:28And again, we take this time to come over here to see you, to let you know we're here
02:31for you.
02:32Anything you need, you go through the liaisons.
02:35We'll get it back to the White House.
02:36It'll come back to us.
02:38And we're going to be hands-on and we're going to fix things.
02:40I think the coolest thing is you guys come into a building that everybody said we're moving.
02:45Everybody says they're going to move buildings.
02:47They're going to get out of buildings.
02:49It's like the first time I've ever heard of it done.
02:51Do you all know the story of the brick that fell in his office?
02:55I just saw the brick that fell.
02:57And the thing is massive.
02:59And he came into the White House and shared it with the president, which began the role
03:03to getting out of this building and going to your new one.
03:06So I wish you guys all the best of luck with the move and everything that's going to go on there.
03:11It'll be interesting to see what they do with this building.
03:13But as somebody said, it goes into GSA's hands, I guess.
03:17And we'll see what they do with it.
03:19But you have a guy that believes in each and every one in this room.
03:22He was so excited to come out here and introduce the PPO team.
03:26Where's Morgan DeWitt?
03:28Morgan is my deputy over in the White House.
03:30Just a round of applause to Morgan.
03:35I'm in a world I just started about six weeks ago.
03:38I didn't know what I was getting into.
03:39I did social media communications with the president.
03:42All of a sudden, I'm now presidential personnel office.
03:46And I was like, what?
03:47I was familiar with it.
03:48But I didn't understand, you know, how many people were involved in PPO.
03:52And I want to thank Morgan.
03:54What is your favorite thing or maybe a favorite story of President Trump as you've been with
03:58him from humble beginnings of being a caddy to now deputy chief of staff?
04:02I would say his perseverance and being with him on the plane in the campaign, going back
04:09to 2015 when we started getting into this world of politics and friends telling me, don't
04:16get into politics.
04:17Don't do it.
04:18It's brutal.
04:21It's just it's an ugly game.
04:23You know, lo and behold, they were they were damn right after I've been been in it for 10
04:26years.
04:27But I'll never forget, it was just like four or five of us on a plane, we called it Trump
04:31Force One, flying around the country and doing rallies.
04:35And every rally, it went from 500 people to 1,000 people to 1,500 people.
04:40And there were only, like I said, four or five of us.
04:43And the momentum just kept building up and up and up through 2015 to where it got so insane
04:49out there with some of the rallies.
04:50We're going to arenas with six security guards and four or five campaign staff with 10,000,
04:5715,000 people in arenas.
04:59I mean, it was pandemonium.
05:01It was absolutely insane.
05:03We started out with less than 1% chance of getting the nomination.
05:08Fast forward.
05:09As you all know, we ended up getting the nomination and winning the presidency.
05:12I would just say the perseverance and his attitude of I can't go back to Butler enough when he
05:18raised that fist.
05:19It's just such a natural instinct of his to fight, fight, fight.
05:23And he's done that his entire life.
05:26And he did it again the four years we were out.
05:29You know, it could have been easy just to walk away.
05:32They would have left him alone probably if he walked away.
05:35But instead, he announced his candidacy to become the 47th president of the United States,
05:40which just put more of targets on him.
05:43And then we're in, you know, Fulton County.
05:45We're in courtrooms.
05:46We're working behind the scenes.
05:47He's out there in New York City at lunch break.
05:50We're working, you know, behind the scenes campaigning.
05:53He never gave up.
05:55He never gave up.
05:57We had that attitude of we're going to win.
06:00We're going to win.
06:02Anybody can try and take us down.
06:04But we're going to win this damn election.
06:06And we're going to keep up the fight.
06:07And we're going to fight for what we believe in.
06:09I'm doing it for my children.
06:11I did it for my children, my great-grandchildren, my family, and the future of this country.
06:15I truly, truly believe that.
06:18And that's what I love about the guy.
06:20And I would say that's probably one of his greatest strengths, is never giving up and fighting for what he believes in.
06:26Listen, I don't know if you all have been to Mar-a-Lago or any of the Trump golf properties out there.
06:30If it was many of us, I don't know, I would be like, hey, I'm going to just go enjoy Mar-a-Lago.
06:37I'm going to go fly on my plane and go to one of my 18 golf courses, my, you know, hotel in Vegas.
06:43The guy loves the American people.
06:45He's a patriot.
06:46And, you know, behind the scenes, he's just a truly incredible guy.
06:50Secretary Turner could tell you, like, just the stories and the conversations we have.
06:54I call him America's greatest host because that's what he is to everybody that he touches.
07:00Everybody that walks in that Oval Office, when they leave, they feel having a personal connection with that man.
07:06He truly is.
07:07He's just an awesome guy.
07:08I have a thousand different stories I could share with you all.
07:11I know our time is limited.
07:12I think the most important thing is, as a representative of the United States government,
07:17to also keep in mind we're representing the president of the United States as a political appointee.
07:22And it's just very important to put your best foot forward and be careful out there because you never know who's watching.
07:29You know, you never know who's out there.
07:30I'm very, when I go out to these dinners or these functions or these events,
07:34because there's people that don't believe in what we're doing, working for President Trump,
07:39which is obviously very clear over the years.
07:42His expectations would be, again, I can't say it enough, to fight, fight, fight,
07:47support his agenda, support Secretary Turner, who he absolutely adores this man, absolutely adores this man.
07:55And just keep doing what you're all doing because I hear nothing but great things about the political appointees sitting in this room.
08:03But there's something really special about this group here that I'll figure out what it is.
08:09I kind of felt it this morning when we met earlier this morning.
08:13You're just a special group of people.
08:14You're all the right people in the right positions.
08:17You have a great leader at the top.
08:19And his thing would be just put up the good fight, keep up the great work, and keep being you
08:24because you're a great representative of the president of the United States, HUD, and the American people.
08:30On behalf of the president of the United States and everybody in the White House,
08:35I just want to thank each and every person sitting in this room.
08:38We love you.
08:39We adore what you're doing, and we appreciate your support.
08:42And it's great to see some familiar faces out there.
08:44It's just so awesome to be here four years and then not here four years, go through what we went through,
08:49and to be standing in this room with great MAGA patriots is pretty special.
08:55So, again, on behalf of the president and the White House, thank you so much.
08:59Appreciate you.
08:59God bless you all.
09:01It's not too often that you get patriots like yourself, people that are committed,
09:06who've never asked for any credit.
09:09And for many, many, many years, you were in the background but in the foreground at the same time.
09:14So your humility is very encouraging.
09:17So I'm glad that President Trump has chosen to put you in this place of leadership to be a blessing to your country.
09:25And for all of our political appointees that are here, we thank you for everything.
09:28Everything you do.
09:30And, you know, yes, we are appointed politically here.
09:33But we all see this as an assignment from the Lord to serve our country and to serve each other.
09:40And we have a special group here at HUB, both career and political.
09:46And we understand our mission here.
09:49So thank you for coming to our house.
09:52We bless you.
09:53We pray God's favor over you.
09:55And we're here for you and Morgan and your team, whatever you need.
09:59So God bless you, man.
10:00Thank you so much.
