00:01Andrew Garfield comes out as gay. Wait, no he didn't. He offended gay people. Wait, now I'm not sure what happened.
00:07Hey guys, it's Emily for HollywoodLife.com and my Spidey senses are tingling as the internet is coming down hard on the former Spider-Man after he told a panel,
00:15I am a gay man right now just without the physical act. Andrew added, as far as I know, I'm not a gay man. Maybe I'll have an awakening later in my life.
00:23The internet also didn't like when Andrew said he prepared for his current role by watching RuPaul's Drag Race and then there's this video going around.
00:36Andrew of course had a relationship with his Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone, but as soon as these comments broke,
00:42this video of him kissing Ryan Reynolds at the Golden Globes started being thrown around as some kind of proof.
00:47But okay, reality check. Andrew is talking about his role in Angels in America where he plays a gay man battling AIDS in the 1980s.
00:54He's talking about acting. He didn't come out. Whether or not you were offended that he equated watching RuPaul's Drag Race to learning about being gay, I'll leave to you.
