Transcript
00:01X-Magna is one of the most highly anticipated sci-fi films at South by Southwest.
00:06We're gonna find out what separates this film from other sci-fi and AI films.
00:11Well, it was very exciting to do something vastly different, a completely different kind of energy.
00:15And just to dig in with Alex Garland and work on the script and really understand these quite intense concepts
00:21from artificial intelligence to what is consciousness.
00:24You're gonna be the human component in the Turing test.
00:27The power balance keeps on changing in this film.

00:38Wrong about what?
00:39Nathan, you shouldn't trust anything he says.
00:42We shot it really quick. We shot it in six weeks. We really bonded.
00:45It's a sort of indie film vibe, everyone pulling together and a lot of laughter and it was great fun.
00:50Alright, that's it from the X-Magna premiere in red carpet.
00:53Keep following at Hollywood for all your South by Southwest coverage.
