00:24Well, models live rent-free in exchange for going to parties and entertaining VIPs, mostly men.

00:36And what's TJ's role?

00:38TJ's a promoter. He gets paid by the party planners to bring the girls and make the introductions.

00:44Sounds like the models are put in some pretty tricky situations. Did you ever object to anything?

00:49I was a 17-year-old girl from Moldova. Who was I to ask questions?

00:53Moldova? Wow, I never could place the accent.

00:59But I thought you said you were walking runways in Milan in Paris by age 14.

01:04Who could remember? But I was a kid and I got swept up in it. We all did.
