00:00Good news for Meralco consumers with a rollback in power rates expected this month.

00:06Meralco is reducing its rate by 0.3557 centavos per kilowatt hour for the December billing period.

00:14With this, households with 200 kilowatt hour consumptions are expected to see a reduction of over 71 pesos in their electric bills,

00:23while those consuming 500 kilowatt hours can expect over 177 peso less in their bills.

00:29The cited factor to this rollback is due to the lower transmission and generation charge.
