Kindred — Kindred 1971 (USA, Hard, Psychedelic, Blues Rock)
This is an incredible album!! This band was produced by Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night. They had a blazing blend of rock 'n' soul that should have filled arenas, but somehow didn't connect with the public at the time. Do yourself a favor and GET THIS NOW!!!!
The debut album (of only two) from the Los Angeles band. The album was produced by Chuck Negron, lead singer of Three Dog Night. Enjoy!Kindred were an under-appreciated rock band that played in the shadow of Three Dog Night – as their backing band for a while. They had serious talent and rightfully broke out on their own with signing an album deal with Warner Bros. Records. Top Rated Tracks: the blazing ‘Too Many People’, the inventive ‘Captain Bobby Stout’, the funky ‘Hang Ups’ and the rousing ‘All Night Woman’. This sextet’s debut is a solid offering of 70’s hard rock.THANK YOU TO G.GRIFFIN! WE HAD AMAZING TIME RECORDING THIS FIRST ALBUM. WE ACTUALLY DID TOUR THE COUNTRY PLAYING ARENAS AS AN OPENING ACT FOR 3 DOG NIGHT TO MULTIPLE ENCORES EVERY NIGHT. YOU COMMENTS WERE PERCEPTIVE IN THAT WE DID NOT QUITE FIND OUR AUDIENCE FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS. MARTY RODGERS LEAD SINGER, CO-WRITER, KINDRED
