00:00You'd better come to a German Christmas market hungry because there's so much to
00:05eat. Here are our five favorites. Let's start with the classic, sausage. And be
00:10sure to ask for a regional specialty wherever you are. This is Meckwurst and
00:14Grünkohl, or green kale. Potato pancakes, also known as Kartoffelkupfer. They're
00:20served typically with sour cream or applesauce. Ratzlecht baguette. This is
00:25something you'll find at every German Christmas market, although it's not
00:29originally German. Flamloch, or flamed salmon. This is salmon nailed to a board
00:34and roasted alongside an open flame. It's usually served on a roll. It's a finished
00:39thing. Really good. And last but not least, candied almonds. You'll find all kinds of
00:45varieties at Christmas markets. Which Christmas market food would you like to
00:49try?
