Connie Britton Interview March For Our Lives
Transcript
00:00I'm marching today, well I'm marching today for my son, but I'm marching really for all of us.
00:07Everybody's sons and daughters, and all of us as communities and schools and churches,
00:12so that we can feel a sense of safety, but also a sense that we actually, as a country, care about each other
00:20enough to keep each other safe. So that's why I'm here today.
00:24And do you want to see gun laws change, or what would you like?
00:27I do want to see gun laws change. I want to see sensible gun laws put into place.
00:32And I want to, I would love to really, I'd love to sit down with the NRA and like, let's hash it out.
00:40I wish that we weren't all so divided on this issue.
00:43I do believe that we all care about each other. We do care about our children.
00:48So let's do that in a way where we can have sensible gun laws and not feel like we just have people running around in the country.
00:56And the country, all our guns.
