00:25My chief minister is not here. I think he will come within a few minutes.

00:30Mr. Revendhuketigaru, the Honorable Union Minister Mr. Krishna Reddy is here on the dais.

00:38My colleague Bhatti is also not here. I don't know where he has gone.

00:45All the important tycoons and laureates who are sitting on the dais.

00:52My cabinet colleagues from Telangana who are just looking at all of us.

00:58My legislators, friends, all the business leaders who have come from all over the country and the world.

01:07Ladies and gentlemen,

01:11Today a great event.

01:15Telangana government has crossed

01:19On the two years mark of this government, Telangana government is moving ahead.

01:33I thought that Telangana is competing with Bangalore and Karnataka.

01:37I could see that Telangana is not competing with Bangalore.

01:41It is competing globally on an international market.

01:45I think I was told by Bhatti, I was just discussing with Bhatti and Sridhar Babo.

01:58After this event, I think a lot of discussions is happening.

02:03And tomorrow evening, you are coming out with a document.

02:09How this new city is this?

02:12How the 2047 is going to grow up?

02:16All this discussion and I think you are coming out with a great document, I was told.

02:20I always tell you one thing.

02:25I was looking for my chief minister.

02:28First, I would like to congratulate you for completing two years.

02:34So I am here to come here to help my friend to stand with him still stronger than earlier.

02:41I would like to tell you one thing.

02:47Today I was told that you have been discussing lot of issues today afternoon.

02:52And tomorrow you are coming out with a document.

02:56Joining together is the beginning.

03:00Thinking together is the progress.

03:03All of you working together will be the success.

03:05I hope this vision document of whatever you are planning for the next generation will take a very big beginning.

03:15This is my privilege to stand before you at the Telangana Rising Summit of 2047.

03:24You are not looking now.

03:27I would like to thank the people of Telangana and all the industrial industry captains

03:33who have brought a congress government back after 10 years

03:37and who have imposed confidence on the congress leadership and Mr. Revan Threddy and his colleagues.

03:46I would like to assure you, all of them will deliver it.

03:51What the global needs, what the country needs, what the people of Telangana needs.

03:57And let us all work together.

03:58So my friend, as he extended his invitation through Mr. Shridhar Babo,

04:08though I had an assembly session in Belagam,

04:11I decided I must come today, strengthen the support.

04:18It is not only Telangana.

04:20The entire South stands with him for the progress of this country to match the world.

04:25Today I am not only here as the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka,

04:32but as a proud voice for beating the South.

04:35India rises tallest with the South service.

04:40One thing I could see, the vision what you are having,

04:45it is a global vision which you are thinking of.

04:48I know that Telangana is a small state, not as Bangalore, as Karnataka.

04:55In Bangalore, our exports, our IT exports are about 40%, 43% of the India.

05:03You may, Telangana may be a little bit less,

05:06but the vision what you are thinking is greater,

05:10and all you have to support that.

05:12That is why I am genuinely glad here at the Telangana Rising Summit,

05:18because when we talk about India's technology story,

05:22it is impossible to tell this story without speaking about Bangalore and Hyderabad together.

05:28So let us all join together.

05:31Now people have tried to fame Bangalore and Hyderabad as the competitors.

05:35But truth is more powerful, we are not the competitors.

05:39We support each other, we are to grow each other and build better India and the entire world.

05:47We know that one day I think I met Ratan Tata,

05:52when I wanted to ask him to request to start for the international airport in Bangalore.

05:58He said me one thing,

06:00DK, if you want to walk fast, walk alone.

06:04If you want to walk far, walk together.

06:07So let us all walk together and make these two twin cities to make greater.

06:14Today, Southern India is not just about the fifth Indian population.

06:19It already contributes 30 to 31 percent of the national GDP,

06:24that is projected to rise 40 to 45 percent of the 2023.

06:30Bangalore is also a living testament to the power of vision.

06:33If I want to discuss on Bangalore, you feel that I would like to compete.

06:40I would like not to discuss much of Bangalore,

06:43because you know that California has 13 lakh engineers working there.

06:49But as far as Bangalore is concerned,

06:51we have 25 lakh engineers working at Bangalore.

06:55So it is a very great city.

06:58So even Telangana, the Hyderabad has a very big potential.

07:03So both of us will work together.

07:06This is a city.

07:07I want to come out with various statics,

07:10what Karnataka and Telangana has.

07:13But various leaders, Mr. Sridhar Babu also has explained.

07:16But one thing I would like to assure you,

07:19a big transparency model has been working out here.

07:22You have a great global capacity center as in Bangalore.

07:27And as Madam also spoke about in healthcare,

07:30we let us all work together.

07:32Though even Karnataka and Telangana,

07:35earlier part of Andhra has very number of talent pool here,

07:39in every sector,

07:41either in the healthcare or education or technology,

07:44you have a very great big asset which can be created.

07:48The human resources what we have in the southern,

07:51the entire world,

07:53no other state or the country can cope with India

07:56and we are setting example for that.

07:59So I am very happy.

08:00Great leaders from all over the world have come here,

08:03imposing confidence on this state,

08:06especially on Telangana.

08:09Though it is a small state,

08:10you have a great talent pool here

08:12with knowledge power.

08:14and the vision of Telangana government,

08:17whatever you have.

08:18Earlier or so,

08:1910 years back,

08:20under the Congress regime of government,

08:22you have given a great vision

08:25which has built up,

08:27which has marked on the national capital

08:29along with us.

08:30I would like to assure you,

08:33under the leadership of Mr. Raven Threddy

08:35and his team of ministers and the officers,

08:39they will work together to see that

08:41this Telangana will be a global mark

08:44and we will stand,

08:45and Karnataka government also stand supported with them.

08:48Let us all work together,

08:50make all of you proud.

08:51Once again,

08:52I would like to thank all the investors

08:54who have come here.

08:55You should have confidence in us.

08:57We will deliver you at your whatever you want.

09:00Development is not,

09:01I would like to tell you,

09:03development is not only a magic.

09:06It is a planning,

09:07hard work and honesty.

09:09And we are committed to this

09:11and my chief minister and his team

09:13will deliver that.

09:15Every project is a beginning for the people.

09:19Every decision will make

09:20and must help for the next generation.

09:23This is not our responsibility.

09:25Here we are not having,

09:28we are not here to compete for each other

09:30with the past,

09:32but we have to create for the better future.

09:35Development is not an idea,

09:37it is a mission and a vision.

09:39And our government is committed for that.
