Zara Larsson caught up with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly on the red carpet at Jingle Ball 2025.

00:00Okay, so I feel like I'm excited about this because watching your year, like watching

00:04you continue to blow up, has been amazing to see.

00:08So how do you feel, Grammy nominated, performing everywhere, touring, what's life like?

00:12No, it's so good.

00:14It's just like amazing.

00:17I have always loved what I do, so I feel like it's just nice to see that people are connecting

00:24with what I do as well.

00:26Because I will just always do what I do and that is to sing and the older I get to create

00:31more, to write more, to be more creative and I just think it's very validating that people

00:37now are seeing my music and like what I do because when I started out I didn't really

00:43create that much, like I didn't write songs, but now I feel like it's very important for

00:48me to write.

00:49It's so personal.

00:50But I also started so young, you know, I was like 14 when I got signed, but now I'm like,

00:53no, I want to be an artist and I have things to say and I have things to show and like

00:59create a world around it and now people get to step into it and it feels really, really

01:05fun.

01:06And I mean, you're talking about connecting with these people, you're touring all over

01:08the place, okay?

01:09You're in Europe, you're in the States, you're all over, and then the fans, like I love watching

01:12your viral moments and seeing like how much you've built the community.

01:15I know.

01:16So what is it like to have that love from them?

01:18It's so amazing.

01:19That is like my favorite thing of it all and also to have them, like it's so beautiful to

01:24look out in the crowd also.

01:25That's why I'm saying like stepping into the universe of summer, of fun, freedom, like they

01:31have their little flowers, they have the sequences, they have their dolphins and it's just like,

01:38it's a very warm, supporting, like anyone I bring up on stage, everyone's so loving, they give me all

01:47their energy, they give me like, I want to do more of that because that's like the true, the meaning of

01:53people that you can only get in a room and that will only happen once.

01:57Then you bring someone else and that will be a beautiful moment but it won't be that because it's just

02:03this, you know, like the connection.

02:08The connection, yes.

02:09When you talk about bringing people in, I wanted to ask you about the Money Long

02:12collaboration because like you two to me are so different but it works so well.

02:17So like how did that come together?

02:18It was because she posted that damn song like 10 times a day.

02:23No, I was like, what's happening?

02:25Like is someone from my label playing her?

02:27Like I was like, hello?

02:29Like she just supported that song so much and I love her.

02:35And I was quite surprised too.

02:36But you know, she's like, she's a, she's an amazing writer.

02:39Oh, she's so good.

02:40And she, you know, she has written like these big pop songs.

02:43So I know she has an ear for a good pop song.
