00:00It's lights out and away we go. Verstappen comes right over to cover Lando Norris, leaves a gap for Piastri if he wants it.

00:06Norris trying to jockey his way past, but there is no way past.

00:09The top three all through in the same order. Norris ahead of Piastri and then Fernando Alonso battling away with Charles Leclerc.

00:15George Russell has dropped a couple of places at the start as Verstappen leads.

00:19And he's picking up a great slipstream as he moves to the outside.

00:23Piastri goes round the outside of Lando Norris and he swoops through into second place.

00:29It's on the hard compound tyre as well. That's a critical move.

00:34Now, yeah, here comes Leclerc and here comes Russell too.

00:37Alonso's looking for him in his mirrors.

00:39George Russell down the inside on Fernando Alonso and he puts his car up in the fifth.

00:44Management just easing off the throttle, not putting too much lateral load in.

00:48So it was Alonso who'd got a stormer of a start, wasn't it?

00:52And the Aston Martin up the inside of Leclerc's Ferrari as well.

00:56And at this point, it all looks perfect for McLaren.

01:01And when they get round to turn nine, Piastri will put a move.

01:05What's that planned move?

01:06Will put a move on Lando Norris.

01:09And look at that, Leclerc also having a look into turn five as well.

01:14But Norris seems to have it covered.

01:16This is the start on board with Max Verstappen just moved straight away over to the left-hand side.

01:23It wasn't Max's finest ever Formula One start that.

01:25And so he had to make it a very wide Red Bull.

01:29It was good enough though.

01:31It just bogged down a little.

01:32It was fine, but it just bogged a little.

01:34Talking of getting bogged down, here's George Russell.

01:38Too much wheel spin.

01:39That so often happens when you know you haven't got the initial launch.

01:42You get a bit trigger-happy on the throttle and you double your troubles.

01:46So George Russell started fourth, currently running fifth, was running down in sixth place.

01:52This is good for now, Max.

01:53We may wish to be going longer, so just keep on top.

01:56And keep building this gap on Leclerc.

01:58It gives us choices.

02:00It's a gap that's gone up to 2.2 seconds.

02:02Lando Norris could see the crew out in the pit lane.

02:06And Lando Norris is coming in to make his first and possibly only stop of this race.

02:11And Charles Leclerc is also coming in.

02:13And Fernando Alonso will also pit two.

02:15And that won't affect Norris' exit as McLaren do a super job in servicing four tyres and getting him back out again.

02:212.5 seconds for Ferrari, 2.1 seconds for McLaren.

02:25Now Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, for that matter, will hear the traffic on the pit straight.

02:30That's the most awful feeling in the world when you're on the pit limits.

02:33You can hear all your rivals.

02:35So he will come out behind Kimi Antonelli.

02:38And there it is.

02:39I was going to say, so many opinions down the inside.

02:42It goes Lando Norris on Kimi Antonelli.

02:45That's a move he had to make.

02:46So there's one gone.

02:48And now he's got three more to try and get past as well.

02:50Antonelli's got the DRS though because the detection point's on the X here in the corner.

02:54Norris will have to watch out for him coming back at him.

02:58And he survives that moment.

03:00So now he moves on and he should have a chance of getting past this Williams down the next straight.

03:05Lando Norris on the Williams of Carlos Sainz.

03:08Great friends, former teammates, swapping places.

03:11Norris is up the seventh.

03:12Two back straights and two places made up.

03:15On track to close the pit window for Verstappen and Piafstra.

03:36Because that should protect that third place when all this pans out.

03:41And we see Charles Leclerc getting past Kimi Antonelli.

03:45And the pit stops are all played out.

03:47Lando Norris should still be in third place.

04:12This is where Yuki Tsunoda now needs to deploy his battery.

04:15And to give him that electrical boost down the back straight.

05:08That's him moving up into ninth place.

05:11There's another car that was nearly off the racetrack in an overtake.

05:16This race and this championship is not decided yet.

05:20Yuki Tsunoda ahead of George Russell.

05:24George Russell is ahead of Yuki Tsunoda, who has got a five-second time penalty for more than one change of direction.

06:41He really got caught out by a few cars undercutting around him.

06:45And that is Esteban Ocon on Gabriel Bortoleto.

06:58Now, Oscar Piastri might want it to have come in, actually, and pitted first.

07:05But Lando is going to come in first to cover off that potential undercut from Charles Leclerc.

07:11So, Lewis will get out ahead of them.

07:13Here comes Max Verstappen on Oscar Piastri.

07:15And makes the pass at turn six.

07:19So, Piastri loses the lead of this race.

07:21He hasn't stopped yet.

07:23He's got a job on his hands.

07:24And Lando Norris, they've covered off the Charles Leclerc undercut.

07:27And he's on his way to a championship at the moment.

07:34Leclerc's been absolutely flying since he changed those tyres.
