00:00Hello and welcome to this Victorian Janesweather update for Monday.
00:04We have a band of cloud that is moving in through here.
00:06Most of the wet weather is affecting Tasmania.
00:09Most of the cold air will be affecting Tasmania.
00:11We're getting some high cloud moving through, but today is the warm day.
00:15So that's Monday.
00:16Let's have a look at what to expect.
00:17There is the slight risk of a shower anywhere along that southwestern
00:20and western parts of Gippsland coasting through there.
00:23It's not likely to extend any further inland.
00:26So that's during the day on Monday.
00:27You see most of the wet weather is in Tasmania.
00:29Have a look at Tuesday.
00:30The very tip of that front moves across during the morning.
00:34So we get some wet weather that is coming in through here.
00:36It's not going to add up to very much at all.
00:39What it does is make that heat contract northwards.
00:42So there's Tuesday.
00:43Have a look at Wednesday.
00:44A ridge of high pressure is running in through here.
00:46There's just a tiny bit of wet weather over in the west.
00:49And watch this signal here on Thursday.
00:51That starts to come into the northeast.
00:53We're looking at northeasterly winds.
00:55Our humidity will increase.
00:57The high pressure is moving in through here.
00:59Almost a jelly bean shaped high in through there.
01:02That means moisture comes in from the northeast.
01:04It runs into a trough.
01:06Air produces wet weather, showers and thunderstorms.
01:08That's most likely during the day on Friday.
01:10Mainly about the eastern ranges here.
01:12On Saturday it's more parts of Victoria that get it.
01:15And then by Sunday that has contracted northwards up into these parts of New South Wales.
01:20Instead, our next cold outbreak, there it is during the weekend.
01:23So by Sunday that has moved across.
01:26And we'll really feel that chill during the day on Monday as the next high pressure system comes in.
01:30So a bit of a temperature rollercoaster in our future, as there is always.
01:35If you're in the western parts of the stage, there's hardly anything over the next week.
01:38It's really about those eastern ranges that we're going to be seeing those showers and thunderstorms.
01:42A slight risk Thursday, increasing Friday, mainly on Saturday.
01:46And then just some cooler showers coming through on Sunday into Monday.
01:50So let's have a look at our temperature rollercoaster for Melbourne.
01:54We're up in terms of temperature on Monday and then again on Friday.
01:58But we do take a bit of a downward slope for the days in between.
02:01So there's our showers coming through on Tuesday morning.
02:04Otherwise, hardly any wet weather at all.
02:06Temperatures re-jump up again on Friday.
02:08It's here for about a day and a half before that change comes through.
02:12And then they decrease again as we move through next weekend.
02:15So in terms of wet weather, it's Tuesday morning.
02:17And it is during a day on Saturday that we're likely to see that.
02:21As always, head to Farm Online Weather for the latest.
