Crowded California beach turns to panic as helicopter crash unfolds in front of onlookers

Greg had his phone camera turned on when a frightening helicopter incident took place in Huntington Beach, California.

"Went for a swim in the ocean and saw a helicopter bracing for landing, so I started taking a video," Greg told WooGlobe. "I never expected it to crash!"

The helicopter can be seen hovering above the crowded beach for a moment before losing control mid-air. The whirlybird ends up collapsing into a row of palm trees. In just a second, a serene beach setting turns into a zone of chaos.

Reportedly, at least five people were injured in the incident.
