00:47:03Combs' legal team, which has been dubbed the dream team, it's a multi-million dollar
00:47:07group of lawyers. We had a wonderful jury. They listened to every word and they got the situation
00:47:15right. I'm not a rapper, music lover or anything, so I need zero knowledge about him.
00:47:23I am of that generation who basically grew up listening to the music that he was involved in,
00:47:32from Biggie to 112. I even like Day 26. I wasn't like a personal fan of his, but in general, the music.
00:47:4212 jurors looking at a celebrity for the first time, up close and personal, in a unique situation
00:47:54where they have the power over that celebrity. It's easy for him to play on people's consciousness,
00:48:04on their opinion of him, on their thoughts of him, on their view of him, by just turning a PR switch on.
00:48:12In the trial, one of the things that blew my mind is I actually saw a huge PR machine at play.

00:48:24I was one of 14 members of the public that were allowed in the courtroom.
00:48:28It was a lot.
00:48:30Other people on social media, they were right there with me.
00:48:33And I saw Diddy's PR team working out, literally talking to bloggers, talking to everybody.
00:48:43It's like we have a movie, and you're speaking this language, and you know what I'm saying, we need subtitles.
00:48:48Diddy's team actually approached me and said, hey, we want to give you the transcripts.
00:48:54Every day, we send out a highlight of the parts that you should actually pay attention to,
00:49:03and that you might want to share with your people.
00:49:06Now, when that happened, I was like, okay, but no thank you, right?
00:49:09So you have to have some sort of calms to constantly be pushing that mom. You have to.
00:49:15This is a 10-year relationship, and it was adults and consensual, and everybody who was there wanted to be there.
00:49:21Because you may just be a person that just does, you just may watch CNN.
00:49:25You know what I'm saying? And there's like, there's 9 billion people in the world.
00:49:29And 7 billion of them is on Instagram and TikTok.
00:49:33And so you at the wrong place looking to see what the people with the possible jurors are thinking.
00:49:39In the lunchroom, Diddy's PR team was holding court.
00:49:45I saw them with a lot of bloggers, Instagram, TikTokers.
00:49:50Every day, they would convene. They would be whispering back and forth.
00:49:54And I literally saw how something would happen in court.
00:49:58And the same group of people that were like this with Diddy's PR,
00:50:02they were reporting their version of events.
00:50:05And it spread everywhere.
00:50:10You got a jury that's not sequestered. They're going to be going home every night.
00:50:14And this will be all over social media.
00:50:17When they did not sequester the jurors, I was like, this can turn upside down by the end of the trial.
00:50:24Because I knew there would be a way in for him.
00:50:27You got it all for him, sir.

00:50:30Cassie takes absolutely zero accountability.
00:50:33Cassie was pretty much the ringleader.

00:51:17In closing arguments, they were saying things like, this was a modern day love story.
00:51:22You didn't see any force fraud or coercion between Cassie and Sean.
00:51:27That was a very, very interesting relationship.
00:51:32There's two people in love.
00:51:35You know, they are like overly loved.
00:51:37You cannot explain she wanted to be with him.
00:51:41He took her for granted.
00:51:43He never thought that she would leave her.
00:51:46So it's like both hands clapping together.
00:51:48You cannot clap with one hand.
00:51:50The both hands like this, then you get the noise.
00:51:53Do you believe that Sean Combs is a violent person?
00:51:57Based on that Intercontinental video, he can be.

00:52:29The very next day, the following day, if you see how they are getting back together and exchanging

00:52:38So now we are confused.
00:52:39What's going on here?
00:52:41He's beating her next minute.
00:52:43They are going on dinners and trips.
00:52:46It's like going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.
00:52:50Allegations of I was forced, I had to say, are nonsense.
00:52:55She could have done whatever she wanted to do.
00:52:58That's my answer.
00:52:59I mean, if you don't like something, you completely get out.
00:53:02You cannot have the luxury and then complain about it.
00:53:07I don't think so.
00:53:10He's turning a PR switch on and turning it off, turning another one on over here,
00:53:16lighting a match for diversion over here.
00:53:18And then you get people confused about whether any of this is real
00:53:22or people are just coming after him to attack him.
00:53:27Combs has really been eyeing jurors looking for their reaction to all of the testimony.
00:53:32Where the judge threatened to remove Combs from the courtroom.
00:53:35At one point, the judge did reprimand him for nodding at the jury.
00:53:40Did you ever make eye contact with Sean?
00:53:42No, no, no.
00:53:45No, we are not supposed to.
00:53:48If they catch you doing eye contacts or any other gestures, you'll be removed.
00:53:55You'll be kicked out.
00:53:58There were times where he would feel strongly, I guess, for something and would nod.
00:54:04But that's pretty much all it was.
00:54:06It wasn't anything crazy or like, it wasn't like he was trying to sway us.
00:54:11It was, I think it was more of just him as a person, just reacting to whatever was being said.
00:54:18And forgetting where he was at the time.
00:54:21It's funny because I remember that nod watching Making of the Band.
00:54:25Like, he would do that often. I think that's just his go-to.
00:54:32If he felt it was something that he wanted, I guess, approval on,
00:54:36he would look towards us and be like,

00:54:40And sometimes look over to us like, can you believe they said that?

00:55:17The jurors heard the emotional testimony from Capricorn Clark.
00:55:22She alleges the music mogul kidnapped and threatened her.
00:55:24Clark described her relationship with Combs as, quote, complicated.
00:55:28Everything that I said in court is mad real.
00:55:32I said, I've been kidnapped with a gun.
00:55:35My life has been threatened.
00:55:36I've watched him beat up his girlfriend.
00:55:38And we went to murder somebody.
00:55:42But that jury in there that day, I knew they didn't believe anything.
00:55:47I mean, uh, it's hard to believe.
00:55:50It's hard to believe.
00:55:52I think we kind of, I think the whole juror,
00:55:56the room felt that that question mark pop up.
00:56:01I'm watching them as they relate to him.
00:56:04I think they all kind of had a like for Puff.
00:56:08Whenever they looked over at Puff, it was like, like buddy, buddy.
00:56:12They were starstruck.
00:56:16I never looked at him once.
00:56:18But every time I caught the glance of him in the corner of my eye,
00:56:22he would make me cry.

00:56:27this is a nightmare.

00:58:12in connection with a beating attack on music industry executive Steve Stout.

00:58:25Sean Puffy Combs was arrested here in New York today on a gun possession charge
00:58:30after leaving a nightclub in which three people were shot.
00:58:33The D.A. failed to prove that Combs was in any way responsible.
00:58:37I'm at really a loss.
00:58:39I'm very emotional.
00:58:40I'm just, I feel blessed.
00:58:42But you still have a victim road that leads to Sean Combs.
00:58:48Some pretty explosive allegations tonight against P. Diddy.

00:58:56Well, all of us know celebrities like P. Diddy get dragged through the mud all the time.
00:59:00But this latest allegation is so shocking.
00:59:03Would you believe they're accusing P. Diddy of murder?
00:59:06P. Diddy's been sued a bunch of times before.
00:59:09But by his best friend, make that former friend Kirk Burroughs,
00:59:13he's even the godfather of one of Combs' sons.

00:59:17I'm also a victim on multiple levels with Sean Combs.
00:59:26I think out of everybody that has a gripe with Sean, Kirk is probably the most legitimate.
00:59:32Kirk was the foundation of Bad Boy.
00:59:35He wasn't the face, but in the early days, he was the foundation of it.
00:59:40And Bad Boy would not run unless Kirk was involved.
00:59:43He really caught a bad deal.
00:59:47Not only was he abusive to me from an employer-employee standpoint,
00:59:55he was also abusive to me in other ways.
00:59:59In what way?

01:00:15I didn't want to be around him and take care of him as he's essaying me and others.

01:00:35And I started to get things together to build a lawsuit to sue him for the stocks that he had taken from me.
01:00:42Burroughs claimed P. Diddy cheated him out of 25 million.
01:00:46Today, his lawyers made shocking allegations.
01:00:49They even accuse him of ordering the hit that killed rapper Tupac Shakur.
01:00:54This is a terrorist organization that uses fear, violence, and the threat of violence
01:00:59to take money from people and put it in their pocket.
01:01:04It was eventually labeled Rico and racketeering.

01:01:13But I was looked on as, that has to be a lie.
01:01:17Right now, the judge did say, this looks like it will be dismissed.
01:01:21After the filing of the lawsuit, I did not succeed.
01:01:26And then I was banished from the business.
01:01:31For 25 years, I was basically blacklisted and banned.
01:01:34The next thing you know, shelters, homelessness.
01:01:43We're showing sometimes you're humiliated.
01:01:47Sometimes you're made an example of.
01:01:51Sometimes violent things happen to you.
01:01:55Through the years, a lot of bad things happen to good friends.
01:01:59As bottomless as the hole that you think he's in,
01:02:10he comes up out like a whirlwind and like a shooting star into the sky.
01:02:14I made the big mistake in my life to think that when you are championing someone
01:02:25and taking care of them, and you have their back, and you are the holder of their secrets,
01:02:35the betrayal came at a great cost.
