00:00Vincent Tarzia's shock resignation is still in the news, but it hasn't stopped Liberals
00:06going out on the street. The party about to change again with its third leader in 15 months
00:12and there's only one name doing the rounds.
00:14I spoke briefly with Ashton yesterday and expressed my support to her should she choose
00:20to take the leadership.
00:21I think Ashton Hearn would be an excellent leader if she decides to put her hand up.
00:26The Barossa MP didn't front the cameras today but told the ABC she was continuing to have
00:31conversations with colleagues. One of those colleagues is already seeking a promotion.
00:35New Liberal recruit Frank Pangelo says he's inquired about running for deputy leader.
00:39Did you seek advice on whether you could run for that position?
00:42Deputy leadership? Yes I did. Unfortunately I can't.
00:47The position already occupied by Josh Teague who says he's not going anywhere. But Mr Pangelo
00:52is still keen on a move to the front bench.
00:55I'm not in there just to sit on the back bench and twiddle my thumbs.
00:59If Ashton Hearn takes the leadership she'll have just 103 days to campaign for the election.
01:05Some Liberal sources are confident she can sell the party's message better than her predecessor.
01:10But it's not clear how much that'll narrow Labor's commanding lead in the polls.
01:15We don't beat around the bush when we know that this is a hard ask to change leaders so close
01:22to an election. I've seen teams in footy come from 10 goals down in the last quarter and
01:26win a game. Don't write off the Liberal Party.
01:30Fighting words from a struggling party.
01:32in the last day.
01:37The Liberal Sociology in the last quarter of the year and last year and last year.
01:40To be continued...
01:41in the last quarter of the year and last year and last year,
01:41we're going to defend against the final four years of the year and last year.
01:42Now at the Altman, we're going to continue to respond to our next year.
01:44And when the русs are at the original Welcome to the Phrone andเจ馆,
01:44the Federalist, the volume of the Year and last year,
01:46the test, the defense is still going to be on the last year.
01:48And when we're in the last quarter of the year there and last year,
01:50we're going to change the mid-first year.
