00:12How difficult is it to live in that shadow, or is it just wonderful to do something that your grandfather did and follow in his footsteps?
00:20It's difficult, and I'm learning more and more about why it's difficult.
00:25I think it's difficult because people expect something from me, and I get treated a certain way because of it.
00:34It's a double-edged sword, of course. My name gets out there quicker than anybody else's because of the Ali name, but with that same token, I'm getting fought harder.
00:49You know, I'm getting judged harsher, so it's whatever, but it's not just me living in the shadow of my grandfather.
00:56He casts a shadow over the world of boxing. You mentioned Usyk. Usyk is the goat. Usyk is absolutely amazing.
01:05And what I love about Usyk is we talk about people coming from difficult backgrounds, and Usyk is Ukrainian.
01:10You know, he was sort of like a backstreet fighter, Usyk, wasn't he? He wasn't primed and prepped like we've seen a lot of the other fighters, and he kind of came from nowhere.
01:20And we talk about the war in Ukraine. You know, he went back to fight there. He's also won heavyweight championships. It's that opportunity.
01:27Yeah, no, I mean, he stands for something. That's why I'm a huge Usyk fan. Not only is he an extraordinary talent in boxing, but he stands for something.
01:37He stood with his country, which you can't do anything but respect. But, you know, we were talking about, like, my grandfather casting a shadow on the sport of boxing.
01:46The first thing after Usyk won his last title fight was they were comparing to my grandfather. And I was like, how are they still comparing?
01:55Like, I mean, I get comparisons all the time, but they're comparing everyone to him. And, like, Usyk, because Usyk has the same birthday as him.

02:02He was the same weight. Yeah, they've got a lot. He's the same weight.

02:06The same, like, height and everything. They've just got so many similarities. But my grandfather cast a shadow over the sport. It's not just me. Everyone gets it.
