00:00Federal officials provide details following arrest of man allegedly involved in J-6 pipe bomb case.
00:07Nearly five years later, the FBI has finally managed to arrest a suspect in the January 5,
00:122021 pipe bomb case. According to law enforcement sources, the man now in custody is 30-year-old
00:19Brian Cole Jr. of Woodbridge, Virginia. Surveillance footage was released way back in 2021.
00:25You probably remember the grainy clip of the masked figure strolling through DC like he wasn't leaving
00:31behind explosive devices. The investigation stalled within weeks, leads dried up. For years,
00:37people asked questions. Like, how does the most surveilled part of the country go nearly half a
00:42decade without identifying this guy? And perhaps the most interesting one, was this some kind of
00:48setup? Even after the FBI dangled a $100,000 reward for info, the case went nowhere. And now,
00:55after President Donald Trump is back in office and the political winds have shifted,
00:59now they make an arrest? Don't expect us not to raise an eyebrow. In the words of Dan Bongino,
01:05now the FBI's deputy director, it looked like an inside job. Oh, and now he says they were closing
01:11in months ago. So what changed? Or, and this is where things get interesting, is this arrest politically
01:17convenient now that Trump is back in the White House and the left needs a distraction from an
01:21imploding economy, rising crime, and a border that's basically a revolving door? The truth is,
01:28no one's saying much. Not about how coal was identified or why it took so long. Transparency
01:33has never been their strong suit on anything tied to January 6th. The narrative was set in 2021.
01:40Trump supporters are bad. January 6th equals insurrection. Legacy media will use this as a C.
01:46We told you. Moment. This arrest raises as many questions as it answers,
01:51and the case feels far from closed, no matter how neatly they present it.
