02:24improvements over the last six months uh taking kennedy center was in very bad shape now it's
02:31getting to be really good and in six months it's going to be incredible the improvements we've made
02:35first time for the u.s to host since the 90s right you ready for it i'm ready for it and they're ready
02:40for it and johnny you know has done a fantastic job with fifa and we're looking to have you know we
02:47we said we have already set records with ticket sales i don't think there's ever been anything like
02:52it in any sport and so i want to congratulate you i don't even have to wait but major records have
02:58been set how are you good today is not football america football it's soccer it's a big event
03:09it's just a big day and it's a great sport and it really is coming to america and never nobody ever
03:17thought a thing like this could happen and i'm very happy to say that we've already set the all-time
03:21record on ticket sales long before the first ball is kicked 100 you've had some concerns about crime in
03:28american cities some of the cities that will be hosting have they remedied that for you are you
03:32still considering maybe asking fifa to move some of those cities no i don't want to do that but i will
03:37tell you if they do have a problem by the time we get there we'll take care of that problem we can solve
03:42that problem i've proven that in dc and everywhere else we went so we'll take care of that very
03:46easily so if they have a problem hopefully they'll let us know that and we will solve any problem
03:52okay thank you congratulations thank you appreciate it
03:56america will be hosting the olympics in two years how important it is yeah so obviously a lot of
04:02a lot of answers you know what today is you got a lot of
04:17not only that i got to see a man named kelly clay that tells you he was on the cosmos yeah remember
04:24We've got a lot of family that has maybe other speakers in the same papers right there that if there are issues, we still get to the end of the month.
04:32We have a lot of other communities here at Southbury, and I assume there's one of you, Andrew.
04:38I'm Andre.
04:39I'm Andre.
04:40I'm going to see you.
04:41You had some paper lines this week.
04:43You were just a U.S.
04:45I don't know what the question is.
04:49We have the U.S.A. is getting better and better, actually.
04:52Thank you very much.
04:54Thank you so much.
04:56You hear the excitement from the President.
04:59You talked about the financial aspect of this.
05:03He said, of course, $40 billion could be pumped into the American economy.
05:07The President has said they've already sold 6 to 7 billion tickets for the Games.
05:13And we've also heard them come up with something called this FIFA Pass to bring people to America,
05:18with Marco Rubio essentially saying that if you're on the FIFA Pass, if you buy tickets to the Games,
05:24if you want to come to the United States, you'll get an expedited meeting at an embassy.
05:28It's not a guarantee that you're going to get a visa, but you'll move to the front of the line.
05:32So President Trump sees this as a financial boom.
05:35He wants people to come to the country.
05:37DHS says they're ready to purchase transportation.
05:40Secretary John Dutty saying the FAA will be ready for all the international travel is going to come in.
05:45This starts next year.
05:46In 2026, it's going to fall on Paris to the Korean birthday.
05:50We are very excited about that.
05:53And he's putting the U.S. Prime Party on that with his administration,
05:58just to make sure the United States is ready for it.
06:02And he's having a great time on the red carpet here.
06:05Thank you, Dr. Tariq.
06:07Dr. Tariq.
06:08I'd like to thank the U.S.
06:28Thank you very much.
06:29Thank you so much.
06:31Thank you very much.
06:32Thank you so much.
06:33Thank you so much.
06:34So, Donald Trump, Galvão, let me put my phone here again.
06:39We got an exclusive here.
06:42We got an exclusive here.
06:45And here with Donald Trump.
06:46And now, Galvão, who's already been a cracker here.
06:49Now he's got a pool.
06:53The pool is set up at the end.
06:55And they're going to gaggle there too.
06:57Thank you so much.
06:58Bye.
06:59Hello, Mr. Donald Trump.
07:00Thank you so much.
07:01How is it feeling to be part of this amazing event?
07:04And obviously, you're being a big part of this amazing event.
07:08And obviously, you're being a big part of this amazing event.
07:10She's doing a very good job.
07:12She's doing a very good job.
07:13She's a good woman.
07:14Very, very good.
07:15She's a good job.
07:16It's a number of it.
07:17And I said, you know, you're actually helping us set up very good.
07:20So it's nice to know that Canada are helping us set up very good.
07:24And now we have a record of difference hands already, you know, long before the first
07:28law is dead.
07:29And we're going to do that.
07:32And we're going to do it.
07:36We really just want to stay here.
07:41We're going to be the first and all around the globe.
07:42It's always going to be kind of on the kind of sports hands all around the globe, going to somebody who is promoting world peace.
07:44We've already seen how many wars he's ended up ended since he came into office.
07:47And he says he's trying to end the big rule since he just graduated.
07:50all around the globe uh going to somebody who is promoting world peace so we've already seen how
07:55many wars he's uh ended up ended since he came into office and he says he's trying to end the
08:00big role as he described uh russia ukraine for him since he's making progress on that part
08:05but yes harris the anticipation is he also has a good relationship with the president
08:09that he will be the recipient of that has it happened yet no will it happen
08:20yeah so essentially again this is going to be the biggest role there is uh 48
08:42what's going to happen today is wrong um there's a bunch of different
08:50people on team 1.5 and then they should play for offense they're going to find out who they
08:54match up with uh to start those first rounds next summer in 2026 so that's why there's so much
09:01time depending on which clock you can put in um and how difficult your opponents are that
09:06immediately kind of find your success or a lack of success in the tournament so uh the teams there's
09:12a massive amount of progress here i mean we gave him the camera left or right right now but there's
09:17media here for all yeah yeah i forgot to have a camera so you can see there's media all around
09:23and again this is a big thing we're observing the country all around this thing and there's so much
09:29excitement honestly soccer is so big outside of the united states it's huge so much popularity
09:35within the united states that um when the u.s have conferences these games starting
09:41uh
09:57uh
10:01um
15:23Thank you, everybody, very much.
15:44It's a great honor.
15:45This has been an honor for a lot of reasons.
15:48Number one, they've sold more tickets than any event has ever sold already, long before
15:52the kickoff.
15:54And number two, we've done a lot of work at the Kennedy Center.
15:57It was falling apart, and now it's pretty much back, and we'll get it back within the
16:02next four or five months through construction.
16:04But you see the way it looks, and Johnny's just telling me, who's done an incredible
16:07job, by the way.
16:08He's just telling, you know, how good a job we've done.
16:11You can look at the walls.
16:13The marble was broken.
16:14Everything was a mess.
16:16And we've really taken the Kennedy Center.
16:17A lot of people thought it was going to be ripped down.
16:19And we did just the opposite.
16:22So we've done a really great renovation job on it.
16:26And over the next three, four months, it'll be complete.
16:28And we're honored to have it here.
16:30And it's been very special.
16:33We've set a record on ticket sales, as you probably heard already, even way before, long before
16:38the event itself.
16:39And we're working with Canada, and we're working with Mexico.
16:44And it's been a really spectacular—so far, it's been spectacular.
16:48Daniel, do you have a question?
16:50What are your expectations?
16:51You once said that the FIFA World Cup was an opportunity to put a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
16:56to put the greatness of the United States on display.
16:59One billion eyeballs for you watching this president.
17:01Yeah, I think.
17:02Even today, I understand.
17:03I hear that, you know, I know we're a little late to get in there, but it's okay.
17:07They wait.
17:08To all my friends, I guess they have to wait there.
17:10Yeah, they wait.
17:11But, no, the numbers are incredible.
17:14I hear today's numbers are very big.
17:16I hope CNN is covering this.
17:17Do they want a billion eyeballs?
17:18Today's numbers are very, very big.
17:20You're expected to get the FIFA Peace Prize, Mr. President.
17:23What would you say to people who say that prize might conflict with your pledge to strike Venezuela?
17:27Well, I think the Peace Prize—I mean, I settled eight wars.
17:31I don't know that I'm getting it.
17:32I haven't been officially noticed.
17:34I've been hearing about a Peace Prize.
17:35And I'm here to represent our country in a different sense.
17:39But I can tell you, I did settle eight wars.
17:42And we have a ninth coming, which nobody's ever done before.
17:47But I want to really save lives.
17:49I don't need prizes.
17:50I need to save lives.
17:51And we're saving a lot of lives.
17:52I've saved millions and millions of lives.
17:54And that's really what I want to do.
17:56And I own country anywhere in the world.
17:58And one year ago, it was dead.
18:00We had a dead country.
18:01And now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.
18:03What about Canada and Mexico, Mr. President?
18:05What are you going to discuss with the leaders of Canada?
18:07Well, we're going to meet with both.
18:09And we're getting along very well.
18:12You know, we're getting along very well.
18:15I don't know.
18:16I think we have a meeting set up for sometime after the event.
