00:09performance by sharing a kiss with one of his male backup dancers. Plus, Lil Kim says she wants to do
00:15a versus battle with Nicki Minaj. Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life with your 2021 BET Awards
00:23recap. But before we begin, make sure you hit that sub like and bell button for all the latest news
00:28on your favorite celebrities. Now, let's get into this year's festivities at the BET Awards starting
00:34with Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby's ongoing feud. The two rappers were set to perform I Did It along
00:41with DJ Khaled and Lil Baby, but there was a bit of an awkward moment. Megan came out first and
00:48performed her verse, but as soon as she finished her part, she did a quick strut off the stage.
00:53By the time DaBaby arrived to perform, Megan was nowhere to be found as DJ Khaled, Lil Baby,
00:59and DaBaby closed out the performance as a trio. Some fans caught wind of this and called out the
01:05Houston native's early departure. One fan said, quote, Megan Thee Stallion said, nah, I will not be on
01:11stage with DaBaby. This comes as no surprise considering just a little over a week ago, the
01:17two got into a back and forth on Twitter. After DaBaby retweeted a post that seemed to be supporting
01:22Tory Lane. Moving on to Lil Nas X and his spicy performance. The Old Town Road star performed
01:29Montero, Call Me By Your Name, in an Egyptian-spired fashion that paid tribute to Michael Jackson's
01:35music video for Remember The Time. Lil Nas X sealed his performance sharing a kiss with one of his male
01:42backup dancers. The rapper singer received a lot of praise online, including a tweet from Diddy, where he
01:48said Lil Nas X did that be fearless. The artist also received some hate for using African culture
01:54in his performance, to which he simply responded, saying, y'all really like to pretend homosexuality
02:00didn't exist in African culture. If you all don't remember, Lil Nas X came out as part of the LGBTQ
02:06community back in 2019. Switching gears to Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj, because we could see a battle
02:13between them soon. At the 2021 BET Awards pre-show red carpet, Lil' Kim revealed that she wants to go up
02:19against Nicki Minaj in the next versus battle. The Crush On You singer was asked if there was anyone
02:24she would like to do a versus with, and she confidently answered with Nicki. After the playful back and forth
02:31between Soulja Boy and Bow Wow in their weekend versus, fans like the idea of two female rappers
02:36possibly going head-to-head. Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj already have a history of beef between them,
02:42with Kim calling Nicki a, quote, Lil' Kim clone and wannabe on her 2011 diss track Black Friday.
02:48Nicki's also thrown some shots over the years with Roman's Revenge and the 2011 diss track Tragedy,
02:53which are all thought to be about Kim. Would you be down to see Nicki and Lil' Kim in a versus
02:57battle? Let us know in the comments below. And now on to Cardi B, because she is expecting her second
03:03child. The WAP star hit the stage with the Migos during their BET Awards performance and revealed
03:09her growing baby bump. The rapper came out to perform her verse on Type Shit in a mesh cat suit that was
03:15completely covered in crystals except the part over her tummy. Minutes after she took the stage, the New York
03:21native posted a photo from a pregnancy shoot to her Instagram account and captioned it, number two,
03:26at Offset. The UP rapper was completely nude in the artsy gram and her boobs and bump were covered
03:33by a white paint or paper mache material. Cardi and Offset welcomed their first child together,
03:39Culture, back in 2018 on July 10th. The Bronx native announced her first pregnancy in a similar fashion
03:46back in April 2018 when the rapper debuted her baby bump during a performance on SNL. Such an exciting time
03:54for these two. Congratulations to the WAP couple. That's it for today, guys. And that's it for the
